Then you chime up a little bit more whenever anything about morals or life choices or government or whatever come up, until little by little you just show your true bonkers self. Then, when everyone tears you to shreds with their eyes open you edit your posts to say 'blaaaa' and that you're done and that we'll never understand because you're so enlightened. Then you disappear for another few months under a foil cap and a shit ton of lies. Every time I'm a bit more disappointed because for some reason I know a lot of people want to like you. I think Dave's problem is that unlike the majority of people, he can't understand how people get on with their lives through bad situations that a good number of us have to go through, throughout life. I'm incredibly stupid in a lot of areas, there's no way I could survive without the government keeping an eye on the people who give me electricity, gas, water, broadband, food, clothes, even our flat. I couldn't care less if there is some worldwide plot whereby the banks control governments and the import/export of things, or that they're making a fortune off us, all I care about is that I can earn a living and that I can live my life stress free, and the fact is that all those people are doing a very good job. Why out of interest? (not to pry) Surely you just set up direct debits and when your fridge gets empty you go to your local supermarket? I think Muel means through the government creating laws and legislations these providors have to meet to provide these services; therefore means he is receiving a generally good quality product at a reasonable price. What happens if the landlord decides my rent is now £5k a month? I can't afford to pay that, or to bribe him on the side, or to hire a hitman. What if the gas people run out of gas? I don't actually care, it's their problem to keep my supply coming. And so on, and so on. Pretty much everything we have is only available because of the government keeping an eye on it for us.
