HarryM1llar
Dislocated my shoulder abou a year back and have been pretty wary about what i do with it now, can anyone tell me what common injries occur during trials. Obviosly shinners, cut, brushes etc... but if you know of any semi serious/ serious injurys let me know what injury and where it would most likely occur:) Many thanks! Danny00135
I don't know how common this is, but I've had some problems with my knee, so joints may be a thing to take care of..
Kevinfor
I've broken my fingers a few times while riding trials.. I usually do it when I'm riding natural cause there's rocks and stuff on the ground where you put your hands if you fall. Other than that my shins are more scar than "normal" skin now, even have 3 scars from seperate ocations that look like a smiley if you look closely.

HarryM1llar
Ahh okay tends to be more on the lower body then:) When i first started felt pain in lower back + shoulders? Probably due to my body getting used to it, dont feel it as much now:) Would you say its 'hard' on the shoulders?
CalopS
after shin digs it's probably knees or wrists....
Revolver
Trials often does my back in. It helps to warm up, though, but back pain can't always be avoided - you do often deal with awkward movements involving twisting and bending actions. Jake.
Hit knee on stem quite a few times, pain went after a few minutes though. Shindigs quite a lot when I first started, not so much now. Sprained ankle once doing a small move, considering getting an ankle brace. Other than that, not much. Have landed and hit my head on a few stuff with a helmet on, so definitely get a helmet!

SamKidney
Ive potentially done some damage to my roatator cuff in my shoulder as a result of a fall a few weeks ago. Its no where near as bad now, but it still aches and gives me some grief now and again, but only after Ive gone to the gym.

dezmtber
My shoulders seem to take a beating after a long ride. A good days rest sorts it though. Sprained ankle seems to be the most common ride ending injury though
Blake
Arms ache after really long rides Hands burn too Wrists can ache, but not if you have a sensible bar/lever angle Back can also ache, but warming up and taking time to stop riding for a couple of minutes and rest your back (mainly if you have a low front end) will pretty much stop this

Sam Song
I'm most afraid of sprained ankles. Shins, blisters, or other cuts heal. For shins, it takes a loooooong time for it to completely heal. It's been 6 months since I sprained my ankle, I am still scared of doing certain moves. Jake.
The guy who made this thread was ran over on new years day... He won't be doing trials for at least 3 months just thought I'd put it out there in case he doesn't reply. SamKidney
My left Achilles Tendon plays up from time to time if I ride a good amount of time everyday for a week. Usually have to rest it for a week or two to get it feeling strong again.
