Rich@DMR
Check out these new signature products Danny has launched with Lezyne. Lezyne kit is top notch, so these must be amazing if Danny's on board. Pump Tool

AndrewEH1
The track pump looks good but for £70 I'm oot
Matthew62
The normal Lezyne Traveller floor-pump is gorgeous, whereas the Danny one isn't so nice. At least they're the same price and they haven't whacked on a premium for his signature which as far as I can tell is the only difference between his and the normal tools. Would rather a screw driver rather than an 8mm allen key so you can use it when out on the MTB. Also as it's Danny's signature tool surely running Hollowtech cranks he's no need for an 8mm allen key. Brettoll
Fan boys will snap it up, everyone else will just make do with paying normal prices for that kit

MadManMike
The pump does look sweet, but £70 is a little too much I reckon... I'm sure build quality is great though.
shercofray
I have a Lezyne hand pump and the quality is 100%, you pay for what you get.

MadManMike
, you pay for what you get. Unless you live in Hastings, in which case you steal it. Seriously though, I have a 10 year old plastic stand-up pump and it inflates my tyres just fine, it cost me £9.99 and inflates tyres in no time at all... For the extra £60, what do I get ? Totally agree, because I have a plastic pump at least that old. I've thought about getting a 'nicer' pump a few times, but there isn't really any point... Plus I'd end up getting OCD about pressures, when actually doing it by feel is just fine.
Jake.
It's good to know what pressure your tyres are at though, because then you can get it to the exact pressure you like every time?
Luke Rainbird
But then you focus on getting it to a number, rather than what feels right/works best in a given situation? You don't ride the same pressure for street and natural, for example, or even 2 different types of natural.
JD™
Do you use a gauge to know how hard to hold an egg without breaking it?
MadManMike
It's good to know what pressure your tyres are at though, because then you can get it to the exact pressure you like every time? I pump mine up hard, then let air out until it feels good... I've never needed to do it to an exact figure. This process takes about 10 seconds, certainly not worth £60. I guess if you're loaded, £60 isn't much for that little luxury, I have better things to spend my money on though.

You don't need to be loaded to have a pump with a pressure gauge. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beto-Bicycle-Inflator-Schrader-Presta/dp/B009KLWRG0/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1356022285&sr=8-10 But then you focus on getting it to a number, rather than what feels right/works best in a given situation? I don't focus on getting it to a certain number, once I know it's over 10-15 and under 30-35, I feel it with my hands and when I'm happy I ride. MadManMike
I know there's cheaper pumps with gauges, but that's not what we're discussing here
Brettoll
We are discussing the fact is has his signature on it, which is pointless as I have yet to see an autographed pump on the Antiques Roadshow... Not that I watch it... Or songs of praise.
Greetings
Quality tools are expensive, question is how much are you paying for quality and how much you're paying for a bag with Danny written on it. The allen keys aren't badly priced provided they don't fall apart like most of these foldable ones do.
Matthew62
You're not paying anything for the signature as the comparative tool without his name is the same cost so it's more of a choice if you want something with his name on, or you don't.
