FamilyBiker
sooo,i am pretty happy with this, therefore i decided to make a new thread about it. as you can see clearly i rawed and painted my marino street rig. after failing hard with applying a "crystal fx" structure on the whole frame because of the tubes shapes(that liquid was dripping to the floor without noticeable effect, except on the floor itself ) i decided to go over the green base coat with some of the pearl blue i wanted to do the crystal effect with, before applying a 2k laquer. that had it come out as some kind of flipflop effect, wich is cool in its own way. the first pic shows the bike nearly in another colour as the second,in real live it changes colour as you walk around the bike. comments welcome! FamilyBiker
i didnt say its going from green to purple or something, its more like a blueish effect mixing in depending on the angle the light is hitting it with. the pics dont tell it really heres a pic i shot in my workshop 2 minutes before the other, the flash got it coming out a bit. CalopS
How come your not using snail cams? The bar/stem combo is pretty awful. I like the green though I hope other people get there Marinos soon! Edited December 19, 2012 by CalopS

LEON
I don't get the bar height, with the not so high bb, unless you're really tall?
FamilyBiker
bb is around +15,headtube at 100 mm,forks 400mm. for an inspired skye(similar geo except ht and cs)with 120 ht,410(?)forks and so on i´m loosing around 30mm in height. the syntace bars are at 46mm rise WITH CLAMPS,and highrisers a´la inspired 80mm,another 30mm lost... skye in stock config has 20mm stackers... just wanted to compensate that a bit. maybe will go for this setup: tryall 105x35°,30mm spacers, adaptor to vro(selfmade),like in the last pic but -20 spacers stemchart says its like 90x10,20mm spacers, highrisers. thoughts over thoughts... LEON
Ah, short headtube for the bb rise! Still seems a mental amount of spacers though.
