clerictgm
What may be wrong?Maybe chain is too long?
bike_dummie
Chain is too long, you need the tensioner to be in a straighter position.
AdamR28
Chain length is fine. Arm of tensioner needs to be up against the frame.

krazykid009
Use an appropriate size gearing? 18-14 for the win!
ghostrider88
Use an appropriate size gearing? 18-14 for the win! Hardly a problem with double wheel chain tensioner...

dave33
Not enough wrap around on the sprocket, cable tie the tensioner to the chain stay
Ali C
with those tensioners you can remove the pin that sits against the mech hanger to allow it to sit against the frame. To lock it in place, remove the mech hanger bolt, then remove the alloy washer/spacer and replace with a thicker one and now when you tighten the bolt it will lock the arm in place.
