JD™
I'm disappointed that this isn't a thread where you and some friends are playing a tune on bikes a la recent car adverts
trials hoe
if this is how you assemble/maintain your bike it's no wonder you break all the 'chinese shit' you keep banging on about every other post. buy some real tools, we don't live in the dark ages anymore.
clerictgm
if this is how you assemble/maintain your bike it's no wonder you break all the 'chinese shit' Loled. Can you prove it? You must be a world famous expert! Why should I buy tools if it's OK without them? I've put this baby in my new frame with piece of wood and hammer without a scratch. If your hands grow not from your ass - it's easy. Edited December 13, 2012 by clerictgm
dngr2self
Are you on drugs? I just read your post saying you broke 2 sets of forks doing trackstands and now this.
ghostrider88
Yes it´s easy, but stupid at the same time...
ChrisTrials2012
You seem to know so much useful, factual information. I own a pair of 09 control forks, and learnt to hook using them, and they still are solid after 6 months. I'd say you're just such an animal if you snap forks doing trackstands. dezmtber
Surely you can just install the headset with your bare hands
clerictgm
Loool, Chris you are crazy. Comparing 09 CONTROL and 2012 shitty-gaylight urban are not adequately. And I broke it not only doing trackstands, also rear wheel hops!

trials hoe
And I broke it doing rear wheel hops! so they broke with no load, while they were in the air? i smell bullshit

Also don't condescend to me.
clerictgm
Completely explains it. If you mean shittyness of chineese parts - Yes. First fork (neon curved blade) broke with no reason. RWH and noob's pedal kicks, that's all. Urban fork broke in 1 month, but my riding was so light and tender(68cm drop was the most "stressful" thing).

Lewis Gething
First fork (neon curved blade) broke with no reason. RWH and noob's pedal kicks, that's all. Explain to us, how did 'rear wheel hops and noob's pedal kicks' cause your forks to snap, even though they are completely off the ground when doing both of those moves? SamKidney
Maybe the cold russian climate makes the forks brittle. I jest..
dngr2self
So did you break the doing back hops or drop offs then? Your not making sense. And what the point of your original post? We all know its possible to do things like that but most of us choose not to.
Andeee
Take off headset? WD-40 + screwdriver. So you do that to take your king headset off!!! You sicken me!!
showurcolours
I don't understand why you'd post a topic with a question mark in, and then ask no questions. Seems like you are deliberately trying to piss people off

Grizz91
All I can say is if he's got the money to keep buying new parts let him get on with it. Not personally how I'd do it and I'm sure it's not how everyone else would do either. But chill guys. I don't think it's aimed to piss anyone off, but to show how he does it using his knowledge and resources. Boom. End of. Next thread please

He lives in Russia, its by no means a backward place, and he's being a f**king eejit, not getting any of the right tools, and using brute force, when he clearly has access to both the right tools and the expertise
