SamKidney
Kenda Smallblock 8's are more than good enough. I've coped with it fine so far in the last 4 months in the wet and dry.

And how would he know if it was heavy or not? He's never ridden one for himself over a period of time to tell the difference. If the small block works for him, then why bother changing. Smallblocks look miles nicer than the Schwalbe too.

The rocket Ron is a good tyre, I've used it myself. Only downside is if you do a lot of up to fronts it doesn't like them in the wet. SamKidney
Would make sense to stick with the Kenda tyre for the sake of a bit of weight. And I know Mikey is practicing his up to fronts recently, Ive been talking to him on Facebook, so the Schwalbe wont be the ideal tyre. Jake.
Okay, well I'd still go with the rocket ron.

thinkdougie
There is 26" version too. That weight has shocked me, the tyre looks so big and bulky!
