williams
honestly, rockman blues are the best pads i've ever used and i will continue to use them. This!
SamKidney
DonĀ“t get your hopes up, they are hs yellows you know... :wink2: Wish I hadn't, they suck. Going to purchase some cousts soon and put the yellows on the front when my ADM's wear out. I have some rockpads somewhere but they weren't amazing for me last time I used them. Front brake is mega though.

Worked ok for me, they are better with a cnc backing though, trust me. Have you given up on tnn then mate?

Have you given up on tnn then mate? Aye I know mate, they're not horrific but they arent right for me. Floyds new CNC backed pads on the same rim and brake setup has done the same. Good at first, and deteriorated as they go on. Given up? I still think they're quality pads. The set I've got up front are insane, but they wont work well at all on my rear Hole rim. Re-building my TR rim at some point and going back to LGM's/ADM's.
bing
Might be the tryall rim. I used an onza pro rim with mine, on a harsh grind, and they were boss. Dan cox thought they were epic. I used them on the same rim again in plastic backed flavour, and they were again boss. I haven't touched the grind either. I was using a two bolt booster as well
SamKidney
Frames got an integrated booster, so its plenty stiff enough. May well be the rim. My adms were sweet on the Echo rim, but when I slapped them on this rim performance dropped rather alarmingly....
ashleys sugden
just got to let rock blues bed in, they take time sometimes. my cousts were amazing straight away, but wore out fast!
SamKidney
If I can find them I'll try them. Found some new LGM refills the other night, and I know those and my TR rim are a killer combo.
williams
The rockman blues plastic backed aren't that good. But the CNC ones beats every pad I've tried!
Danny00135
Plastic backed cousts are the best I've ever used! The only problem is they loose a little too much hold on a dying grind...
SamKidney
I loved my ADM's on the Echo rim, just worked. This try-all rim seems to be the failing factor. Im running some adm's on my front TR rim and they're insanely good.
thinkdougie
Viz and try all use the same material rims? Mines good but after a week as you said Sam lose all bite and not much hold. So Annoying...

So Annoying... Mod rim seems wank compared to my 24" viz rim. Viz rim held a grind for a good while, this just doesn't.

SamKidney
My 2013 viz rim holds grinds for a week.... I had the older "original" 24" viz rim, the one with the Try-All/Rockman-esque hole pattern in them...
