Blake
Do any of you know if its normal for a 24" rear wheels to have a buckle in it after 4 weeks light riding. Thanks Dan it can happen depending on the build and what moves you've done
Jake.
If it's a brand new wheel... There are some cases of the spokes becoming a little loose so check them all, and true it back to normal. You may be riding heavier than you think. FamilyBiker
depends heavily on the built,i laced my pro2/gi backwheel a year ago and never had to true it until today i buidt wheels commercially though Edited December 8, 2012 by FamilyBiker
Ali C
it depends on a few things.......is the rim suitable for your needs? If you've got a light weight single wall rim and are using it for street then yeah, it's going to buckle. If the wheel wasn't built very well then it's going to buckle. If you are a harsh rider, it's going to buckle. I ride spank rims which are just about the stiffest things ever made and I've not had to touch them since I built them back in March.
