*gentlydoesit
Had a proper grafting day, gym first thing, milking cows, moving sheep then a good few hours chucking pallets and sleepers about. Having an hour on the sofa now with the small people before putting the crimbo tree up an then settling down with an ale or two!I like those days, graft n rest... quite homely, good soul food . All except the milking cows bit, I always wonder what was on the mind of the first person to try it

SamKidney
GU arrives on Monday/Tuesday, excited! Last long low tgs barge I rode was my old Czar 26" and I loved it. Grown taller/stronger since then, and my riding ability is better so throwing this one around should be a lot easier. Looking forward to it
dann2707
Had a really fun beach party last night. I was the only one who really went all out haha short shorts shorter than my summer shorts.
isitafox
Bit more done on trials course today though I'm running out of ideas as there's not much room to play with. Also had our new 12hr roster through for next year, means I can get 2 weeks off work with booking 3 days off so will have sooo much more riding time in the week! JDâ„¢
Just been approached for what could potentially be my first public speaking slot It's been a goal of mine for a while, but something which I didn't want to actively seek out - I wanted people to ask rather than put myself forwards. If it comes off that'd be cool and scary in huge measures!

Skoze
Known a guy for a while who's a f**kin' sweet designer, got a few one off's of his on my wall at the minute. Always knew he was in a pretty decent band a fair while back but never really thought about it too much. Turns out he's played with Mudhoney, Hole, Jawbreaker, Operation Ivy, Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips and toured with Nirvana in '89. Awesome. bikeperson45
Had a hospital appointment go well. The stuff I'd been worried about was nothing, would have been nice to have been told that a few weeks ago when I asked instead of stressing about it but at least it's okay. The whole 'most likely never going to get to do trials' thing's something I'm starting to accept a little more. Saying that though I keep dreaming of riding and waking up and knowing I probably won't get to do that in reality sucks but I'm kind of more optimistic about other stuff so that's kind of happy worthy. Nothing worse than not being able to do something because of medical things, one reason I had to stop was my back. Being 6ft 5 and riding trials just ruined it, was always aching after about half hour. Almost as bad as the time I was told I was too tall to be a pilot in the RAF What's specifically up with you if you don't mind me asking? Almost as bad as the time I was told I was too tall to be a pilot in the RAF What's specifically up with you if you don't mind me asking? It's to do with me having over flexible joints, so the risk of me dislocating is pretty big, and each time it happens the probability increases and recovery takes longer. I started trials when I was 14, I'm 19 now and I think around 2 and a half years of that I was dealing with recovery from things and not actually getting to ride. That was shoulders though and now I'm recovering from a ligament reconstruction in my knee, it's fairly common in terms of sport but I'm more at risk because of flexibility apparently, despite not being hyper mobile. I just need some kind of outlet/ hobby thing now but I'm too hung up with trials, and I'd consider myself to be a physical person which doesn't help. That sucks about the RAF, they just don't cater for your height at all?
Muel
What's the plugin for? It's the simplest, least impressive plugin in the world. All it does is make the footer stay at the bottom of the screen when the page height is too low to keep it there. Originally it was just a mini pet project that I only used to learn how to use Git, but people seem to like it...https://github.com/SamuelTurner/Clingy-Footer

MadManMike
Got a bad-ass dual arm monitor stand for my desk for Christmas, opened it early You can position monitors however you like, but I've just got them together at the moment. Matthew62
Yes Ha, it is very tempting. I've found lots of ways I can justify it to myself, but then had I never known about it would I be thinking of anything better than my Skye? Prehaps some other forms of cycling could be of some use if you want to keep on a bike? Pilot wise I was told you have to be fit to fly anything(Fast jet, cargo, rotary wing etc.) and you dont get a choice what you fly. Which meant although I could fit in them all if I was to eject from a fast jet I'd probably lose my legs on the dashboard Which they wasnt too happy about letting me do haha!
