Wanted an EK/EG Civic for a while now.

Been given a 1.5 EG for free. Needs work, and too expensive to insure compared to an EK, but it's going to make an awesome project. Going to aim to have it complete for when my premium comes down after I've driven a year or so.

I'm definetely not picking on your choice of car or anything at all, but how come you didn't go for a rwd car? Rwd cars are atleast 10x funnier to drive than fwd cars.

Price. And because I'm a Honda fag, basically. Going rwd would mean going for an NSX or S2000 :giggle: Always loved the older Civic hatches and 3 door coups. Got a B16B lump to drop into it with a load of upcoming work to be done to it in the future.

Cheers! Going to tart it up a bit but I'm not going mental like most others do. Simple genuine lip kits, MeisterR suspension and some sweet wheels to roll on.

Keeping it simple, pleasing on the eye and still usable as a daily. Not into the whole huge bumper kit/lip kit slam it to the floor with ridiculous camber scene that mostly surrounds old civics.

Engine swaps what I'm looking forward to most :-)

Brought this up in the car thread, I'm kinda jealous Sam haha.

Happy knowing I'm finally saving money for next year, but not happy I keep looking at cars I know I can buy and insure tomorrow if I wanted.

If only there was a way I could do both haha.

Fair enough! :) Civic's are nice though, just a shame I'm a bigggg fan of drifting haha.. Sounds pretty sweet!

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I seriously can't see the fun in it at all..?

I dont understand you.

Many people say that FWD cars aren't fun, and RWD is better.

These people are devoid of all reasoning other than how easy it is to go sideways. And they usually own £500 E36 328's.

This in itself isn't a bad thing, the bad element of this is that they believe falsely that a FWD car can't possibly be as much fun as a RWD car because it doesn't go sideways.

But for 99.9% of people they lack the talent to drive a FWD car well, let alone a RWD car.

It isn't a case of better or worse, it's just different.

I LOVE both.

Hope its all good mate.

Theres been some confusion surrounding mine. I'm sure its an EG, the insurers are sure its an EG (entering and searching reg), but both my Mum and Auntie (original owner) reckon its an EK...

Either way Im happy! (EK means less rust :giggle: )

That's odd... Get some pictures up of it! Less rust is always a good thing, both are lovely models.

Jack harmer is scared shitless of my missus, after I pointed him out for calling dibs on her 15 years old (at the time) daughter. Made me laugh like hell. Am sure he squeezed a nugget out at radfest when she confronted him
