eBay for the f**king win.

Ive been trying to sell a number of old car bits on Facebook for ages now; roll on the messers with no money or the dreamers.

Lists said items on eBay early this morning as if nothing to do. Two items of substantial value have sold in under 10 hours. Hurray for extra quidz

See angry thread in a week when there's a PayPal dispute saying it was faulty and there's piss all you can do about it :P

I've never accepted friends and family payments over paypal even while dealing on Facebook to help people buy with confidence, no different to eBay and yet to have anything come back ^_^

I scrap most things if they're faulty.

Doesn't need to be family/friend payment, eBay side with the buyer 99.9% of the time and it's crawling with twats. Still best/fastest way to turn things into money, just expect some bullshit about 10% of the time :P

Been back living in whistler for just over a month and it's going great and working back here has been sweet, the guy we work for is great and looks after us and it's essentially a crew of my good mates, I got a bit of a promotion and a payrise too.

Very happy with the girlfriend too she's just great, it's been a while since I saw her due to her new job and it being kinda long distance but seeing her tomorrow, exciting future ahead and moving in together for winter.

Running a Santa Cruz nomad at the moment and I'm really happy with it, been slowly accumulating bits to get it exactly how I want it and it's going to be sweet.

Currently writing this sat in the sun on the deck of a secret cabin that's nestled at the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere with an amazing view. Bonus is we get to descend to the valley bottom down an awesome fresh cut loamy trail.

Got no complaints and just quite content at the moment.

Sounds like you're living the dream! Can I ask what you're doing for work out there?

Also, old or newly designed Nomad? I'm yet to be won over by the new one. The suspension curve sounds like its more my bag but the looks just don't do it for me.

Bat shit crazy pups that will swallow whatever fits in it's mouth, best of luck Ed!

Everyone needs a whippet, I only see him for about an hour a day when I walk him, the rest of the time he's asleep. I haven't actually seen him yet today and I've been up since 5.30.

I like whippets but the choice for the lab was based on having small people, we need a dog that is easily trainable and will be a sensible dog when grown up :)

Both bitch and sire are pedigree working gundogs so good training genes should be there, Charlotte is at home 100% of the time so training during the most important time in it's life will be done.  Bonus is I should have a traildog :D

Beware though, labs can still pack a nasty bite, as I found out from my brother's one. Became a much nicer dog after he had his sack lopped off.

I think that's applicable to any dog, big jaws + big teeth = holes.  The plan is to make sure it's fully socialised and acclimatised to as many possible situations as soon as possible to help it in later life.  The boss has trained a number of dogs over the years and is happy that she'll not have any difficulties with this one.

I'm a cat person but f**k me they're cute :D

Jenny's brother has 2 labs, one they had from a puppy and the other they took on when a couple split up and rehomed the dog. Is it from working stock Ed or just family breeder?

Both of their labs are lovely dogs but they take some wearing down. They had alot of success with clicker training with the puppy. The appeal of treats soon wore off so they changed to clicker and it worked well.

Both are working stock, the sire is from a trainer in Shropshire direction and Tom (I actually went to school with him 30 years ago) went shooting with bitch worked 35 days last year and has been a regular working dog.

Charlotte is going to train on clicker and whistle, going to be great fun literally following the dog up on cannock chase :)

The gun dog side will keep you on your toes haha. We looked at a few whippets from racing blood lines and they were all nuts, Teds sire is pure show dog and the bitch was from just family life and he's a totally different style of dog. So placid and steady rather then running around like a fool, he has a good run most evenings with me on the bike but other then that he's very calm.

Im managing a painting business, everything's made of wood and painted here so there's lot of work and it's generally big high end stuff.

Im on the mk 3 nomad I think, it's a 2016. I had a 2015 bronson previously that I switched out to the nomad due to me cutting out the downhill bike and going down to the one bike.

Its been great, the vpp linkage on Santa Cruz is awesome, pedals so well and tracts the ground I always leave pedal assists off, I had a fox x2 on the bronson which really made it come alive too. Just bought one for my nomad and some 36s that I'll be setting up this week.

If I was in the uk I'd find the bronson perfect. They're so capable and I can imagine the nomad being a bit overkill in the uk. There's some big rough stuff here though.
