Top days graft completed, instead of 6-6 I've been on my bi-annual assessment to make sure I'm up to date with my rulebook knowledge.

Got off the train at Stockport at 0810, finished my assessment (which my manager proper blags) then back on the next train home at 0904.

Result!

He called dibs on our lasses daughter, who was 15 at the time. Jokingly of course, except mother didn't see the funny side and proceeded to explain this to jack at radfest 2013. I laughed my ass off at the look on his face. He was genuinely scared

Just pre-ordered the new Death From Above 1979 album. Mental that their first, and last, album was 10 years ago.

It should also turn up a couple of days after the wedding, which will help me get over my hangover.

Roof bars and bike rack have arrived at home, seems sad to get excited about but I've been toying with the idea of ordering one for months so will finally save me from messing in the boot dropping seats and stuff :)

Hahaha I always love how people who don't have English as their first language notice stuff like that, even though nobody that's English would ever look it at that way unless someone said it.

Oh and I went for a ride before work, starting to do everything a lot smoother and consistently now. However there's a long wall I ride and the biggest bit of the wall that you can ride I can get up it one in two attempts now. Today I wanted to get it one more time before I went home, I kept failing. I got a puncture, I grabbed the spare tube in my bag, it had a puncture. So did the 2nd spare.

I wrapped electrical tape and a repair patch over the hole (ran out of repair glue) and pumped it up quickly and managed the up to front! Was so happy haha. Pics in a sec.

Hahaha its all I ever put pictures of. It was a solo ride anyway, you know that wall that's been featured a fair bit? Red brick, white top. It's the big end of it, not sure how much over barheight it is but it's scary haha. Had so many accidents between me and Jack Harmer there.

I'll get a picture for you next time I go just for you! I never bothered in the past as I wasn't consistent enough so it would have just been a mate stood there for about ten minutes or more til I made it hahahaha.

So my bike finally arrived, which made me happy.

But it's obviously been sat in the dudes (damp?) garage for a while that even the aluminium frame is oxidising. Some components are covered in grit and looks like they've been washed in the dead sea and not rinsed off with fresh water. Ideally the bike needs to be stripped and cleaned and rebuilt. Some small parts need to be replaced too. To top it all off though he either forgot both crank bolts and one crank spacer or they really did fall out of the handle holes in the box it came in.

However he did throw in over £100 (if bought new) worth of spares for free so I guess that's okay?

What stem you got on your echo 24 dude? Mine is too short, definitely don't feel right. Tyres? What's on yours?

Aaaand have we ever ridden together/in a group before? Went through your youtube and saw a few clips of you, vaguely recognise you but can't remember exactly.

Most likely. I used to attend most of the Portsmouth big group rides. As well as ones in Southampton. That was when I was like 15/16 and shorter/less hairy :P

In regards to stem I run a 165x25 and tyres I run a rear swampthing slicked and a front slicked high roller :)

Maybe I don't.

Anyway, really happy as I cracked my rear tooth ages ago on a pork scratching. Tooth decayed pretty badly and had to get it removed.

I've now got a wisdom tooth growing where the void is filling the gap and isn't causing me pain as the aforementioned tooth isn't there. Means it's not going to make any of my other teeth wonky too :D lovely.

On this subject I woke up this morning to find a mouth full of blood. Wisdom tooth had pushed out another leaving a bloody gap. Cant find the tooth though.
