Coping with my injury better than expected (broke my collar bone and elbow), last time I broke my wrist a long time ago I was very frustrated but this time I'm always thinking on the positive even though my crash has put me in the shit quite a bit.

Also got a custom card from one of my best mates from Australia today (not seen him this year yet with him travelling) and it was such a pleasant suprise, really made my day :)

Would you actually take it? It seems wrong. Someone's lost something had something stolen, they should not have to pay to get it back.

Absolutely! No question. What actually happened was that due to your actions, their stolen trailer was recovered. If you hadn't taken a risk and reported it then they might not have found it.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I just disagree. I would feel bad spending that money, knowing that it was the result of someone's misfortune (the fact they eventually got it back is irrelevant, they shouldn't have had it stolen in the first place).

We agree on a lot of things money wise, but this isn't one of them. Picture it from the other side. Personally I'd feel a little bit disrespected if the money I offered wasn't taken, like the person was saying "I'm too big for your money". For that reason, I'd barter them down to half.
