The Happy Thread

Just finished a massive (for my skill level, anyway) auto report building project, got a few new clients on this week, one paying 6 months up front which is unusual and nice. Time for a beer, I think...

Unless he is entitled to double what everyone else is, it's £60 a year. Although that's not exactly bad!

I'm happy because I'm having a quiet beer and a dominos, instead of going out and honing a hangover for tomorrow. :)

Oooh is it only £60 off for one ticket? Still not complaining!

You can go out and not have a hangover, just don't get stupid drunk haha.

Yeah, it's £60 once a year for partners, I used mine on Benicassim festival for this summer, making it a mere £65 for a ticket entitling me to camp for 6 days in spain and 3 days of music!

Funnily enough I got my dominos delivered by a kid who camped with us at Reading 2012 last night (didn't recognise him till he left), who decided to park his car on top of some 12" high rocks along my front garden while doing the worst 3-point turn I've ever seen, and proceeded to burn out his entire clutch by trying to pull away in third?! We spent an hour jacking his car up to try and put bricks and ramps under it do get it out! And got free dominos too :P This made me happy because I didn't really have anything to do last night except eat pizza, and this guy turned up and provided me with an hours entertainment.

As for drinking, I normally drink responsibly but the party that was on last night is probably still going...

Renting is surprisingly cheap where I might be working if I get the job (fingers bloody crossed just hope being ill didn't make me come across not as well as I could have in the interview). Seen some awesome places for like £300 PCM with EVERY bill included :o

To be fair, Oli, your drive is ridiculous!

I'll give you that, there's a reason my gti is parked on the road! ;)

This kid tried to turn around about 20 yards past my drive, which is steeper and has even less space (if that is possible) and rocks to stop you driving into the hedge/ killing VW Polos.

As I mentioned, good week. Probably went a bit far on the 'feeling good' bit of that last night... Luckily lady sent me out for food for tonight, which meant an accidental hair of the dog (or two). Feeling much more human now :)

6 years after setting my last sidehop record, I've finally done it again :D Most limiting factor is still my mind although constantly pushing myself lately has improved this a lot. I'm sure I could go 5cm bigger if I didn't second guess myself all the time and think "nah, this won't happen" while already on the rear wheel.

How long is the interview? Ram your body with medicine so you can't feel then go to town

How big? :) Going up to chainstay/down to chainstay a bunch of times helps me when trying my absolute biggest.

That's not small :) try going up to pedal/stay on a wall that's like 130cm, you'll surprise yourself

Don't have the mindset to do that. But it would be a good bit of practice to get my brain "unlocked". Think I'll just get re-acquainted with the current record and then add 2cm as I go along :)
