Arent 203's a bit overkill? 180's would have been more than fine Id imagine

They might be, but I want brakes that are better than awesome! The avid brakes with 180's slipped a bit when riding TGS'y riding, so I just wanted to be on the safe side. Plus it looks awesome :)

Saints and 203's will be overkill haha.

Each to their own, hope you enjoy them

Haha I might get smaller rotors if I don't like it. But yeah I like my brakes to be 'overkill' ;)

203mm rotors void the warranty on fourplays.

Meeeh, should be alright :)

Pretty sure Ali C either runs or has run 200mm rotors on Saints so they should be spot on!

Yeah I'm sure of this aswell, plus Duncan shaw, and Danny Mac. Should work good :)

I don't think Duncan runs 203's, nor does Ali as far as I remember.

203 Saints are most certainly overkill and as has been mentioned will void your warranty. You simply don't need that level of stopping power with the type of forces you're likely to put through the bike. The only reason Danny runs a 203 on the back is due to the huge backwards forces he puts through the bike with abubaca's and 180 drop gaps etc from huge heights. Your average rider simply doesn't need that, it'll just be a bigger, heavier rotor that's more likely to bend.

Both Duncan and Ali C does, look at the green bike in the photo from yesterday (Shoutout to G for the picture). And for Ali C look at his newest video:

It might be overkill, but that's how I like my brakes. It was my own decision and sorry but your opinion is not going to put me off doing it. Not even a tiny bit. I appreciate your concern for my frame etc, but I've been wanting to try this out for a long time now :)

Edit: I don't do this because I want to follow others footsteps. I just like my brakes being 'overkill', and that's how it always has been!

My phone doesn't stop ceasing to impress me.

Earlier on Iwas cooking and using my pphone to reel off the recipe and method. My hands were messy from the food so I couldn't touch the screen of my phone but I looked at the phone and as it has eye detection it recognised me looking at it and kept the phone lit as it was about to go out meaning I could just keep referring back to it hands free.

Thought it was a bit gimmicky at first but it's actually incredibly useful!

I've going to the gym, for maybe 6 months now, doing weights and getting tonk (nah I'm still scrawny) but I never really did any endurance. I started my sessions with a 5 min run to warm up. Today out of nowhere I smashed 10k in 62 mins (gutted I didn't break the hour mark - stupid slow start) so now I'm training myself up for tough mudder. Got 8 months to become a tough mudding machine! Pretty chuffed with myself and I still feel I had some in me to go further!

Yup, I can confirm they run 200-203 rotors. Last time I felt Duncans back brake it was shit though :P

And not everyone "just does manuals" Matt. ;) Some of us need our brake to stop us, not just slow us down.

Well blow me - crazy fools.

What you talking about? I can't very well do skids without a good back brake can I?

get on your pull ups and dips now! i thought i was strong enough; i could do 24-30 of each before being out of steam. but it wasn't near enough for me to do the monkey bars at the end, i ended up buggering my shoulder as a result and have been out of training and bikes for 3-4 months. And start running on real surfaces not treadmills as soon as you can.
