I've lived in Scotland for a little while now, let me handle this.....

"I'm not surprised (in agreement). The shaft is going to be ruined unless you weld on a new sprocket and we save the strip down until he doesn't need the bike for work, yes".

Ahhhh it all makes sense now, cheers.

Knocked off my bike on my way home from work tonight.

Had been given way to cross over by both cars using either side of the road, front wheel just about onto the pavement and some twat comes flying round the standing traffic and runs straight into the rear wheel. Sent me a fair distance, and the bike needs a good look at now. Hands are going to be scabby tomorrow, and all my upper body aches. Perfect for a mechanic eh?

They never bothered to stop either. Wasn't an impact you couldnt notice, the car hit the rear frame triangle doing about 40. 3 young asian lads trying to act Rambo.
Shame I or the two cars that stopped to let me cross didnt catch the reg no.

Oh, sorry to hear it :( I have nearly had that happen to me a couple of times but I was lucky enough to avoid it

but youre fine,nothing physically damaged?

thats the most important thing, even if the bike was wrecked, what would you do if you were severely injured, better the bike than yourself

Few cuts and bruises but I got off lightly considering what could have happened if he'd hit me dead on a second or two earlier.

Someone asks a favour, because I have a tiny bit more experience at what they're after. I gladly oblige, and then get asked to reverse it all and produce something a 5 year old would do. f**k you then, do it your f**king self. I hope it comes out shit.

It's not out on PC yet :(

Waiting for PC release as well. Then comes the mods then years of fun after that. I'm still playing GTA IV on PC with pretty mods.

I'm waiting too, PC TID.

I'm not allowed to buy it for myself yet :(

To put a long story short there is a man who I commissioned to do a job. It's been almost 6 months since the deadline. He keeps lying to me, telling me things are progressing brilliantly but has no evidence to back it up. He's the kind of twat who's fine with having a meeting to discuss what still needs to be done because he thinks he's a master in deception and everything will be ok when he confronts me. So I've asked for a meeting today and rather amusingly he's agreed. But this time I don't plan on leaving with empty hands.

The funny thing is that we've signed a contract stating a 20 quid fine for every day over the deadline. Although the contract is valid, going to court to claim my ~3 grand is not something I want to do as I'd far prefer him to finish the job. I've already got him to sign a promissory note for 600 quid 2 months ago which he signed and later refused to pay. This is now in court but that's easy since they just enforce the note without requiring any attendance and I hand it over to a debt collector. He has no sense of responsibility so I've decided that I'll present him with a few options today and if he doesn't agree to any of them, just take his laptop instead. I've already asked him to bring it to the meeting. I very much doubt he's using it as a tool to do the job since he admitted some time ago that he commissioned it to someone else because he can't handle the task. So from my point of view, he won't be needing it.
