isitafox
Also in shite news, went to get my roadie out of the shed earlier only to find the innertube had blown off the rim on my Inspired. Everyone keeps mentioning the heat but it's not particularly hot in there to begin with and has been fine over the last couple of weeks when it's been hotter??? Not wait 3 weeks, be a sneaky b*****d with all sorts of excuses and not send it at all. Pretty pissed, took the day of work for this shit... I find Phil exceptionally annoying. Can't quite pin point why, but I find him incredibly arrogant and find he thinks a little too much of himself. Unfortunately this has just exaggerated those feelings. Sucks about the car stuff though. Would be shitty even if you hadn't taken a day of especially Drive to mine...I'll fit it all for you for free
Luke Rainbird
If I could afford to make the trip I'd bloody love to cheekily take you up on that, shame the roadtrip won't be taking me that way next week Shame I don't currently have the space/kit at home to do the work myself. Hopefully got a bit of a mini-project to complete for the 'rents which may give a little more room to work though so fingers crossed. Off to Phil's this afternoon/eve instead. Bah. I know what you mean about Phil though. He's a top chap, but he's running himself ragged trying to get this thing off the ground and really needs to take a step back, couple of days off and look at things with a clearer head. Luke Rainbird
FFS, here we go again. Except that this time he didn't even bother to give me a shout to let me know. Due to get to mine by 6pm, Jardo sent me a Facebook message just before 7pm to let me know Phil wasn't going to be coming over. Utterly taking the piss now. If shit goes down and you can't fit a job in that's fair enough, but at least have the common courtesy to get in touch and let the person who's waiting on you know. The past few times he's at least sent me a text, albeit at 8am the morning we were supposed to be doing this shit.
Muel
Sounds like a bit of a cock gobbler this Phil guy. I certainly wouldn't pay him to work on my car if he can't even be reliable for his mates.
Muel
Now, most of you on here know that I'm normally a very mild mannered chap, nothing seems to wind me up (honest), but having to pay to attend my own graduation ceremony really does f**k me off. As if uni hasn't cost me enough bloody money already! If I cared about the ceremony then I probably wouldn't mind as much, but I'm realistically only going so my family gets to go to one.In total the event has cost me £150 already. Completely ridiculous if you ask me.
dann2707
That's mad dude! Break it down in separate costs as how has it come to that?

Muel
That's mad dude! Break it down in separate costs as how has it come to that? £15 for my ticket, 6x £6 for my guests, £47 for my photo pack, £45 robe and hat hire. So actually a mere £143. Luke Rainbird
The additional guests and photo pack are optional though, so only really £72 which for a day for 3 people is far from awful.
weirdoku
Lols, you had to pay for your guests? My graduation included 2 guests!
Muel
The additional guests and photo pack are optional though, so only really £72 which for a day for 3 people is far from awful.Couldn't care less what is optional really. None of it is included in my course fees at all, as it is at most other universities, which is a piss take.Anyway, £15 for me, 3x£6 for guests and £45 for robe is £78. In my opinion, I shouldn't have to pay to attend at all, and my robes should be included, and 2 guests should be free. Any more guests than that and my photos should be paid for I agree, but paying for robes that are mandatory? f**k off!
