Blake
Killed my front wheel while doing failed g-turn... Don't have the money to fix it before Radfest is it just the rim or?
MadManMike
I felt shit when I got back from Ibiza, assumed it was just because of the four day alcohol binge and lack of sleep... It has developed in to man flu. Not the end of the world, but not quite the chilled weekend I was hoping for.

Ben Cox
Ahh shame mate, if it was 20", You could of have borrowed my front wheel for Radfest (I live about 20 minutes away from barrow farm) Ben
Tom Booth
Ripping the old ceiling down in my kitchen to put fresh board up, was all going well, next door asks how its going 'yeah it's going great'. As soon as I said that these last few bits of coving have been a right twat. Plus I was crouched on the worktop earlier, didn't realise I'd flicked a hob ring on with my feet, then melted the toe on my shoe! The room stinks now! isitafox
All set for building my bike up this morning then my can of copper grease runs out, pissed off doesn't cover it!
isitafox
It gets worse, at least I can bleed my brakes I say to myself so with the bleed funnel plugged into the lever blade I fill it partially with fluid and let the fluid flow through the system. Funnel is running a little low so I go to top it up with my syringe, it's a bit stiff so I squeeze harder then hit a loose spot, fluid blasts out the syringe blowing it all out the funnel and completely covering me, the window, the floor, the frame, EVERYTHING! 1a2bcio8
Woke up on Saturday with deep depression, fatigue, muscle aches and fairly intense pains around my liver. I'm wondering if the liver is causative of all these symptoms given how crucial the liver functioning is to general health. My liver has been fairly abused over the years and particularly since the accident regarding the various drugs I was using for pain management, etc. Liver impairment might be the explanation for my poor immune system and general lethargy in recent months also. Definitely getting a doctor's appointment sorted tomorrow. I really wish I could talk to friends about this stuff in person rather posting on here. I can't tell if it's my incorrect perception that they're not that interested in hearing about problems or that they actually are disinterested. I'm just frustrated with constantly moving back and forth between illness and the appearance of being recovered from my accident. I want to ride my bike without feeling that holding a manual in position is exhausting like it was today.

SamKidney
Back feeling pretty down about everything. Social life - My lack of social life here in Yorkshire is really getting me down. I have such a laugh at my Dads every time I'm there without fail, and my mates there are always asking when Im next through when I'm not there. In essence, all my friends live over 80 miles away and I see them 4 days a month - Non of my school "mates" give a toss and rarely, if ever bother to get in touch. Riding isn't much fun anymore - My new bike rides brilliantly but I've never got the time or energy to ride it after work, and exerting myself on the weekends after a week at work bores me. Already bent the steerer on my new Neon 24" forks which is a bit of a joke for nearly £90, and I just dont have the drive to sort it out like I used to. Im slowly watching the one thing I really love/loved and the only sport I've been properly decent at slip away, but I can't seem to rekindle the drive to continue. Already bent the steerer on my new Neon 24" forks which is a bit of a joke for nearly £90, and I just dont have the drive to sort it out like I used to. Generally feel ill/sad - Always feeling down and tired, even after trying to sleep and eat/drink properly. No idea why but I feel like crying often for no reason. It's hard because I'd move to my Dads in a heartbeat, but it would mean throwing away my apprenticeship and starting again, and my chances of driving this year which is really the only thing I'm looking forward to. I can't fulfill my hobby in fixing cars/sorting a project car of my own at home because the mother wont allow me a car in the garage. As a result my job is resulting me in having heaps of cash with nothing to spend it on. No social life - no spending. No car - no spending. No social life - no real enjoyment out of using the car other than a means to get to work and my dads a little more often. His work hours dont really allow him to be home all the time either, despite me being able to take care of myself. I feel like shit and generally down about everything. Works the only thing keeping me here because I enjoy it, and is where my apprenticeships based. Can't see me riding much after Radfest is over. One last hurrah huh? Tom Booth
It's an age thing to be fair. Once driving, work and lasses get in the way riding becomes a memory. Think the last time I rode was about 4 months ago but still come on here for the lols ect. Don't give up on the bike, just keep hold of it for the day's youfeel like a pedal.
MadManMike
Likewise, I haven't been out on the bike in months but it's still sat here waiting for the moment I get 20 minutes to go out on it
