You could ask if you could do an additional full A level in one year - same sort of relative amount of work as doing 2 further AS courses but would be spreading yourself a little less thin. Worth a try if all else fails at the very least. Either way you need to book in a good discussion with someone in a position of relative power.

...or take a kamikaze approach and load up on additional subjects so they let you in, then just fail the ones that don't matter? :giggle:

Might not make you look good though...

I have to say that the English education system is a little backward...

Again, already been through this route, although unfortunately I get the standard "the A2 course follows on from the AS, and as such you could not do it without the skills learnt from that first year"

Yes, I am currently speaking to one local sixth form, who I may be able to convince. Pretty much on my last chance here! My current school won't see me, as as far as they are concerned, I am no longer a student.

Yeah, but if you were to do the full course (AS & A2) in one year that point is irrelevant and you'd still be attending several subjects worth of lessons which seems to be their aim.

I see what you mean, but what they are saying is that the A2 course follows on from the AS, so until you finish the AS, you won't have the skills to do the A2. They can't be run in parallel.

Basically, just had a call back from one local sixth form, saying they are going to get one of the tutors to get in touch with me to discuss it further. I can be hopeful eh?!

Yes, but what I mean is that you'd do them in order, just in half the time. Spend 6 months doing the AS, then 6 doing the A2. Loads of people do it.

A penis from Northern Ireland bought my alloy wheels. He turned down my offer of £80 for postage, but he agreed to giving me an extra tender for packaging materials and finding a courier himself... On the 11th, and then apparently forgot how to use the computer. Sucks to be him, the postage is likely to be a fortune, which is why he should read the f**king listing.

At the end of the day, I can always open an unpaid item case and he'll get bad feedback for being such a dumbass.

I might offer a courier in England next time, might get more money.

Just be careful, I sold a set of JDM Civic Type R wheels to a lad over there a few years ago and when he got them he changed his mind and was all set to return them. I told him no chance as they were exactly as described and had every little marked pictured on the auction but he put in a dispute anyhow and eBay refunded him about £100!
