So pretty much any 125 haha? Don't get a 4 stroke though, they're boring! DT125X would get my money if I was buying a modern 125.

Btw, I've ridden a few CGs and they were the worst handling bikes I've ever been near, my brother agrees too. Very unstable and very poor suspension, brakes were brilliant though. (Talking about the 02-06 models, as that's all I rode).

It's worth noting though that CGs are one of the most popular bikes in the world so I could be talking bollocks.

Haha. Cg's are ok bikes, will run to the end of the earth and back, but they are sooooo dull! I had an old 85 kawasaki kh125, was a 2 stroke and it was a brilliant bike to ride! Really nippy and pulled to an indicated 80-83mph. Insurance was stupidly cheap and you can pick one up for about 500 notes.

I did my Mod 1 on a CG (because my bike won't stop fast enough :P) and it was pretty bad to ride, they've got more torque than my MZ so you can ride around in a more civilised fashion but wheres the fun in a bike that you don't have to scream everywhere lol. Yeah the brakes were good but I found the riding position awful, You're sat bolt up right, just feel like you're pirched on top of it. My MZ is much more comfortable. And the best bit, it was free! Thanks to Muely Muel.

The riding position might have something to do with you being a lanky b*****d and the CG being designed for tiny little Asian people. (They've sold millions in Vietnam, China and Japan).

I found that the suspension was the worst thing on the bike, far too soft and wallowy. Made them weave about in high speed corners I found. Anything over 50mph was almost dangerous.

Wasn't exactly free, would have cost me more to keep it running for a year than it was worth, you saved me a fair few bob. :P

Prob out of your price range, have you looked at aprilia rs125's? Insanely good handling on the right tyres, and genuine 100mph if you can find one with an arrow pipe and derestriction. I used to race one, and it was amazing
