Drive shafts are pence to replace, you'd easily get change from £100 and only take an afternoon to fit!
Not even that bud. I had a 106 diesel for my second ever car, it had a knackered cv joint, I got a full driveshaft from donny motors pares for 30 quid. Took me 2 hours to fit, all you have to do is disconnect the steering ball joint, bottom ball joint and driveshaft nut. As I recall, I didn't even take the brake caliper and disk off as there was enough room to get in. It's an easy job to do

Personally I would sell it on or scrap it and save the money to buy another car when I was in a more comfortable financial situation.

Annoyingly you will now lose out on your April tax, the DVLA have to have received the tax disc and form back in the post by the end of the month otherwise you lose out on the next month as well.

Ring around the local scrap yards and check how much they will pay you per tonne, this time last year I got £160 for my 306.

Is it an echo sl? They are shit

Yeah, I don't think they're shit though. I got it second hand on a bike a year ago. It still sorta worked but with loose internals. I've got a spare silver one at home which I'll put straight on, only other freewheel I'd use is tensile probably.

Looking for room//studio flat to move into in. Need a room that has enough space for all my shit, but they get pricey and on my current salary it leaves me about £200-£400 (depending on which I go for) after rent and all bills to live on for the month. I should be able to do it but it doesn't leave me much to do other things. But I'll have the freedom of not living with my parents and my own space which I really need at this time in my life.

I could endure that for a year or two, while trying to save up some money. Then work towards getting a better paid job.

*siiiiigh*

Gonna try my luck on the lottery.

£200 a month to live on really is not enough dude. £100 minimum of that will go on food, then you have to afford to have a life on £25 a week?

£400 a month is possible though. I've lived on £400 a month after bills for the last couple of years, and that's manageable with some left over for the doing of fun things.

Yeah. £200 is if I go for a nice big room, I really need space though as my bedroom I live in now at home is no bigger than a 2.5m cube, anything I can rent that is bigger than that is a bonus. Might be just me being picky though, only looking at the nicer ones. As long as I can fit all my shit in my own room, somewhere in the house (if I'm sharing) to put my two bikes (they're my babies) I'll be happy.
