isitafox
Just got to work and realised I've left my bloody book at home! (and an un-named item which may or may not be not allowed at work)

isitafox
(A) Incidentally, the box I'm working in tonight is the one I started off in and before I started the guy who had my locker got sacked, when management came to opening his locker up they found it was stacked fully with porn mags and dildo's......
TrialsIsHard
I feel less angry now after reading that! Hahaha, make sure you sterilise everything! My housemate is taking a 40 minute shit in my en suite, after claiming to just want a shower. I will have to deal with the repercussions of this for the next hour or so while the smog clears. isitafox
Left work to find I had a flat tyre this morning and no socket to undo the wheelnuts. On the plus side the flat was on the rear so I drove home anyway!
Joe Sheehan
Learned the hard way about not wearing shin pads whilst riding. Just awoken by my bloody shin sticking to my bed sheet then tearing off. Gross.
Joe Sheehan
Aforementioned shin damage caused by this snap! Oxidisation indicates that they've probably been cracked for a while and I just overlooked it. Monty 158 cranks too so I'm guessing they're as old as the hills!
MadManMike
So I had my exhaust "fitted" on Friday. Two out of three manifold bolts used - "It should be OK, if not, bring it back". Fine. Get almost home, boom, exhaust blows. Called them up - "We can fit you in on Friday, there will be an extra cost" So, there's an extra cost, to fix a job that you did wrong? f**king BS.
craigjames
Just checked the tracking on a package that I was awaiting delivery by ParcelF***wits on a 48h service, apparently they attempted to deliver it earlier in the week; no "we attempted delivery" card. Lucky I checked! Dopey useless, inept arseholes!

And now my train home is disrupted as someone has jumped in front of a train. Selfish willy, use the suspension bridge like everyone else, if you're that intent on killing yourself. I'm not usually heartless, but I'm in a shit mood today.
Jolfa
Have them fix the car, turn up, get keys, leave, pay no bills, it's their shoddy f**kup in the first place! Try your best to get the keys before any payment occurs, they're not gonna chase you for the money as they're in the wrong! As for throwing yourself in front of a train, really f**king selfish, brother in law is a paramedic, has to scoop up bits of people who do that, London tube drivers get a ton of mandatory leave if someone jumps in front of their train! CC12345678910
Selfish? No, selfish is definitely the wrong word, that seems to come from a majority with a lack of understanding, but I can't think of the right way to put it. It is horrible, occasionally even life changing for the drivers/paramedics/others involved in the aftermath though, I in no way contest that.

The problem I have is that the garage is quite far away and they can't do it 'til Friday - this alone will cost more than £50 in train fare and I'll have to take a half day. I'm gonna try and get the manifold off tonight and drill it out myself. If I can do it, I'll be pleased with myself and I'll have learned something, so that's good. Pete.M
Just don't buy the cheapest drill bits. Good ones will save you a lot of pain!

ItsMatt
I'm money hungry and I work a full time minimum wage job as an "IT Engineer" I work for a sister company of a larger business that mainly deals with flipping stock between larger companies and other sale type happenings. Our side started literally the day I joined and the part number data base / ebay listing system has only been sorted out today (four weeks later). I'm not sure if its worth sticking about with them to see if things really start picking up or if I should fak right off and go find something better paying, I can't stand being inside a grey warehouse full of old shitty computer equipment 42 hours a week. considering quitting early July, riding bikes and fun things until September and then going back to college and taking level 3 extended creative media. wat do
Mark W
The latter. Have a fun summer then smash the shit out of the college course. Summers aren't made to sit inside a warehouse doing something you don't enjoy.

Going to spend some time revising my contract I think
Mark W
Have you got the option of doing extra hours/overtime? If so, maybe smash that out for the next few weeks/months to give yourself a bit of summer spending money (and depending on how things go a bit of extra money for the start of college)?
