bing
Just been on the phone to sky as our Internet signal sucks and as usual they say it's a problem on our end despite the fact it's been stable for months before this. I then questioned them how this problem would come about to which they replied that cables deteriorate over time. They then told me the cable may have been damaged in the last week, to which I replied that I have not touched the cable and I have no gremlins as pets. He then asked me how I know I don't have gremlins as pets. That part actually made me laugh in the middle of a very angry phone call. Our sky broadband has gone shit as well, they told us we need a new router, which will only come for free if we take out a new contract. Otherwise it's £100 charge. Muel
Our sky BB has also gone to shit within the last couple of months. Constantly dropping out and stuff. Not bothering to cancel though as we're planning on moving in the not too distant future.
Jolfa
Since selling the Audi, the guy has text me nearly every day with a list of problems with the car, half of which I told him about, the other half are things that have broken since he bought it, think he's going to be going for a refund. Think he's not going to get one. From what I'm told, his mrs is seriously pissed off that he bought it in the first place, and that's even with him telling her that he paid £3500 less than he did! Luke Rainbird
How bloody much did he pay for it?!

Luke Rainbird
And he's managed to convince her it was a 500 quid car?!
Jolfa
Apparently so, and she is piiiisssssed! Today he's had it up on ramps to look for a mystery knocking/banging (that has 100% honestly started since handing over the keys) and he wants to ring for a chat, told him I'm at work and can't talk. If he continues to message me I'll tell him to spend some of the £700 he negotiated off the price or use some of the £100's worth of spares I included to sort it out, the f*** do people want when buying a used car privately?! He had every opportunity to inspect it, invited him to put it on ramps, he test drove it and paid me money on that basis...?!
Luke Rainbird
Clearly she thinks he should have spent more to get a reliable wagon. Perhaps she was right
Jolfa
This just in - Apparently, Oil cooler leaking Bottom ball joints shot CV boots split Prop bearings shot PAS pump leaking Water leak (split hose and hole in rad) Rag wrapped around FMIC pipe work? Dead rev counter (that he killed) Which now I've typed it out isn't that bad of a list considering I've offered him a radiator free gratis, have got an E30 cooler I'd let go and most of the rest is just annoying jobs that don't cost a lot really... isitafox
Sounds like when I sold my oldskool Prelude. Buyer came to look and we spent an hour trying to get it to run, once we finally did he took it for a spin, decided to buy it then an hour later I got a phone call saying it'd stalled at the petrol station, wouldn't start and what was I gonna do about it!
Skoze
Tell him to get f**ked, Sale was final, had plenty of time to inspect but chose not to. It's his fault, the end.
King C
Had that when I sold my mk2 golf gti. It was worse because I sold it to a friend of a friend who was a bit of a moron who used to bitch about me to him but he backed me up. Jolfa
I've been nice and polite about it, offered free parts (that I forgot to stick in the car when I sold it), other than that he can blow me, bored of hearing about it! It needs £50 worth of bushes not a re-shell and an engine rebuild! Edited January 31, 2015 by Jolfa
dngr2self
Tell him to ram it. Sounds like he's trying to get a refund to shut his missus up. Second hand cars develop problems and they also don't come with a warranty. Tell him to text someone that gives a f**k next time he gets in touch. Greetings
Well, my Surface 3 tablet has packed up after 2 months of use. It gave all sorts of problems and finally the touchscreen went mad with phantom touches and swipes. Wouldn't be bad if they were imported to this country through an official channel. As a result claiming it on warranty will probably take ages. The importer I purchased this from said they will repair (???) it. I've taken lots of accurate pictures of the device just in case, for all I know you can't pull it apart cleanly. The most annoying thing is that I bought this tablet to last me a good 3 years if not more. Based on these experiences, I have serious doubts it'll last more than a few months past the warranty period. Considering this cost over 1 grand in total I'd rather just have my money back and not risk it but the store is only obliged to refund me the 2nd time it goes bad. bikeperson45
All my stuff that I accidentally abandoned in America is going to get thrown out and given away soon. Jake.
Stupidly watched the ISIS video. Mate this just made me search it to see what it was, I'm not fussed by pictures of people chopped up etc but this genuinely made me feel pretty sick. Looks like it even lasted quite a while.
