weirdoku
F*** you DPD Courier services! New phone was getting delivered today between 12:38pm - 1:38pm. At 12:44pm I get a text saying they tried to deliver but no one was in, according to them. I've been in waiting this whole morning and I did not hear a single knock on the door or my doorbell ringing AND they didn't even leave a card to say they tried to deliver it!! They must have just not even bothered trying to deliver it! Tried finding a number on their website to contact my local depot, only found answering machines and got no where. Called up my phones network customer servies, the guy was very helpful and he called up my local depot for me while I waited on the line (luckily it was free to call). Guy on phone comes back saying that they tried to deliver it but no one answered the door, that's cos they didn't even try to deliver it!!! Now I have to wait till 6pm today to go there myself to pick it up, could have gone for a redelivery for tomorrow but I have stuff to do and won't be in, nor will anyone else tomorrow. Duncy H
Dpd are shocking, I too waited in for a parcel that had to be signed for. It said it got delivered. Well I didn't have a parcel. Turns out it was 10 houses down my road in their paper bin not even signed for!
Muel
In the last 12 months I've heard an increasing amount of stories about DPD... They used to be the only courier I 100% trusted. I believe Tarty and Overclockers both used them before I moved out (and thus stopped spending money on toys), but I never had an issue. Bastards. Jake.
Not angry or anything but was just reading the posts about street trials, I really want to do riding like Ali c, mark, flipp etc but I've never really got on with those type of bikes... I sorta want to get one to mess about on for a few months to see if I do get into it, opinions?
Luke Rainbird
Pick up a second hand Zoot/similar nice and cheap, one or two changes to the spec to make it a little more tolerable and away you go. Could even start with a more "trialsy" front end setup to ease you into it
AdamR28
To balance the 'debate'... I tried 'streety' riding both brakeless and with brakes, and I'm too shit (and scared of decking it mid-spin) to get the hang of it, so won't be persevering with it

Come down to Worthing and ride my bike some more, I'm actually loving the stem and bars; it feels soo nice now! To balance the 'debate'... I tried 'streety' riding both brakeless and with brakes, and I'm too shit (and scared of decking it mid-spin) to get the hang of it, so won't be persevering with it I know what you mean! It's actually terrifying the moment you are about to 180...The thought of it going wrong always crosses my mind right before I try it and I instantly fail because of this. Oh and because my riding ability isn't great. Once I over come the psychological barriers I'm sure I'll get better and I imagine it would probably be the same for you. But hell, why try fix something that isn't broken
ZeroMatt
Wish there was a way to prepay customs charges so stuff didn't just get stuck in the shit UKBA system. Waiting for a letter to request fees is a load of crap, especially when they take so long to process them.
Ben Cox
Feel rough as arse with this cold i've been lumbered with! Also, my new job f**ked up with putting me on the payroll, so i won't get paid for another until next Friday instead of tomorrow! Not cool as i'm completely skint and am going to Brighton for a few days next week with the missus. Ben

If you know it and which courier, you can call them up and pay over the phone. I did that for somethings I recently ordered, the letter didn't come 2 days after I called up. MadManMike
Why do you always seem ill? Because I am always ill. This year so far has consisted of flu, bad back, sore throat, cold and now this. For some reason I have pretty much no immune system

Jake.
My bike and Ali's bike couldn't really get much more different to Flipp's bike It's all in the mind I tried out a brake less mod for a bit and could do nothing apart from rolling pedal up about 4 pallets. Over this year I'll probably try out different inspireds if I get the chance, to see if I really do get on with them. I'm angry that today the post came, a royal mail grey slip. Apparently the seller didn't cover postage fees so I have to go to the depot and pay £1.41 plus a £1 handling fee... I even paid the £2 postage the seller put on ebay? And it was within the UK so it's not customs charges... So annoying. It was for a ps3 game called dead rising 2 if you were wondering, won it for £6.50. CalopS
Maybe email him and say you will give him bad feedback unless he refunds you your £2. I'd just check over the ebay listing too to make sure you didn't miss something about the postage, but it sounds like he is in the wrong. Ben Cox
Am pretty hard up for cash due to the aforementioned work screwing up post, but today i went and got my missus some bits for valentines day. Got her a nice little snow glob with a bear inside that said i love you, a heart shaped chocolate lolly that also said i love you and a heart shaped post it note dispenser (she loves post it's for some reason). Got home from town and put the bag on the bed and done other stuff for a bit.... Went back to it later to find the bed quite wet..... Bloody snow globe had smashed, soaking the post it notes in the dispenser, and lodging small pieces of glass in the chocolate heart! So bummed out about it as i spent my last bit of money on her and now all 3 presents are f**ked Ben

Copy and paste your tracking number into Royal Mail or Parcelforce's online tracking thingy, likely one of those two. Sometimes it says who has it, find out then ring 'em up! bikeperson45
Internet's not working and landlord seems to be refusing to believe it. Living alone with no internet's horribly boring. And tonnes of snow coming down, most exciting place I can go is the library and that's only open for 4 hours over the weekend.
