Mark W
Premiere randomly developing corrupt frames in projects. Can even have different footage at that specific point on the timeline but it'll still shit the bed and exponentially add frames when you're rendering it. f**king pointless. EDIT: It's also just randomly changed all the colour correction bits I've added to the 20 or so different clips to show them as a "Color Correction Mask" rather than "Color Corrected Layer", so I've just had to f**k around with a load of drop-down menus to switch that back to the correct one. No idea why it did that, but it's yet another helping of some good ol' fashioned hassle that I could really do without adding to this project. Ben Hahaha loved that! It takes a few days for them to come through matey as the initial matching process takes ages. Probably something to do with the matching algorithm. Continue swiping for a few days and they'll come pouring in left, right and bumall

Skoze
Way over-stressed. Got to write a chapter of my dissertation and finish a big project at uni by monday, way overdue on some work for a client, still chasing payment for some writing and trying to get some vague order with my old housemates to pay some bills i cant afford, but i've gone beyond seriously giving a shit and am now sat on my bed listening to reggae and struggling to engage my brain. Literally can't even begin to work out the structure of this dissertation. Sweet.
Mark W
If you've just got to write a single chapter then it's not really worth stressing too much about how you start it, but just fling some words on a page. You'll no doubt go back, tweak, edit and f**k around with it anyway so just do whatever you need to do (irrespective of how shit it might be in the short term) to get past that blank white page and you'll be away. If it's just a chapter then I'm guessing it's only going to be a couple of thousand words at most, so - say it's 2,000 words - if you've got until Monday you've got 4 days to do stuff on. That's 500 words per day which isn't much. Your last post was 89 words which is pretty much 20% of what you'd need to do per day, aka f**k all. Once you get that first bit done you'll probably just cruise the rest anyway. It took me a while to get my dissertation on the go, but once it was up and running I found it pretty hard to go into the detail I wanted to go into but not shoot over the word count. I ended up having to trim off a good few thousand words, as did everyone else I know who was on my course, and I'd imagine you'll end up in a similar situation. Just get it going... HippY
Both my crank and hub has a stuck sprocket and the local bike shop could not do qnything about it ill take it to belfast then to another one
N.Wood
They are bastards to get off. Have you given the shops the Tarty Method as shown on their website?
HippY
They are bastards to get off. Have you given the shops the Tarty Method as shown on their website? yeah, told them, but they were like " ohh yeah we tried it and our chainwhip bent" So I give it a go at a different guy or try to find a friend with vice
isitafox
Do you want the sprocket afterwards? Last resort method is to grind the teeth off so you get 2 flat sides you can hold in the vice then stick a big f**k off bar on the crank arm

HippY
not really, one of them is a heavy 24 tooth the other one is a broken and worn sprocket.. what if I wrench it and use a hammer? WD 40 would help?
Dman
If a shop can't do it they aren't trying. You need a vice and bar that fits over crank arm.
Herbertlemon102
If a shop can't do it they aren't trying. You need a vice and bar that fits over crank arm. old pair of handlebars wedged against the removal tool and the pedal works if you can't find a bar that fits Edit: whoops not a freewheel, my bad, but of you put a threaded rod through the cranks anyway it would still work Edited November 1, 2014 by Herbertlemon102
bing
Piece on motorbike chain wrapped round the sprocket with a bolt through the other end. konstant
My Echo SL fork's steerer failed catastrophically yesterday while riding on flat tarmac. By some horrible piece of luck I was riding down a mild slope on a busy road at the time and so going fairly fast. Gloves, jeans all shredded on impact and I'm praying the bruising to my left knee (I ride left foot forwards) is from impact rather than ligament damage. I can't walk, but fortunately avoided inpaling myself on the steerer and and/or being run over. I bought bike/fork new and have never done a tap in my life.
