ogre
Some c-units are setting up scaffolding on the building across the street. Not impressed. Local establishment can feel my f**king wrath tomorrow morning. Anyone know what legal sticks I can beat them with?
Muel
In future just call the police while it's happening, say they look could be knicking it and the local coppers will show up and tell them to shush. They're generally pretty quick round here.
ogre
well the building they were working on was lit up, so i presumed it was hunky dory, called the council and they said it shouldn't be happening. complained to the business too. i'm a right grump old fart these days. Tom Booth
Spent all weekend in Wales on a faultless bike, ride to work this morning and I get 2 punctures! Ffs.
ogre
surely riding at a proper spot puncture free is better than a boring ride with punctures?
Tom Booth
The worst part is its just aslong to get halfway to work, puncture, then walk the rest then stop and repair it. I know what your getting at thou. Atleast I had a spare dozen tubes at work thou
ogre
broken spoke on my rear wheel back to a magura untill i can rebuild it all.
dann2707
I didn't think it mattered too much if you snap a spoke on a disc as it's all hub based? Or are the spokes flexing now?
Jake.
Matt you use a mod right? I wouldn't have thought snapping one spoke would matter too much. My old rear wheel was missing 3 spokes for about 4 months and was alright. 26" too. But then again it's me I suppose lol.

CalopS
My knees have been playing up quite a lot recently. I jumped off my bike earlier and landed on it funny. The pains stopped now but I couldn't carry on riding this evening
Tom Booth
Try wearing pads/supports dude, I used to get horrible pains in my knee after a few hours riding but since I've started wearing pads I have no problem at all. Knees feel strong and powerful all day and don't ache at all afterwards.

SamKidney
Boss has re-arranged my windscreen fitting for tomorrow instead of next week. It's meant Ive had to fanny around getting the car there to be done and I've got to try get hold of my other parts to do at the same time. I'd wanted to space these out to prevent me spending in one lump and leaving me low on money for the weekend.
