It just seems strange to say "I don't have time to do things I want", then list something which you don't have to do (unlike work, homework, etc.). Fair enough about the snow, but to say that you have to go to the gym for "training" in favour of other things you enjoy seems a bit odd.

The gym is only squezed in the little little time I have left over. But I can see your point :)

To top it all off: I just got grounded

Debated today whether or not to build my new frame up when it arrived so I could ride Leeds tomorrow. Decided not to bother as knowing my luck something would go wrong until the frame arrived and I got overexcited.

Needless to say, I'm not riding Leeds tomorrow...

Needs either a half link or gear ratio changing to 18/16,the brake lines need shortening after the splitter by quite a bit as they stick out loads and the hub needs a tiny spacer machining up

And the bottom bracket needs some top hat spacers

I hate it when something I've said gets taken the wrong way. Just been talking to the missus on Skype, and her sisters just lost her job, so we're talking about how her sisters going to get really upset, and I know when her sister gets upset, it really pisses her off, because she has to deal with it, so I go "If her being upset starts to annoy you, ignore her, because you can't have someone else getting you into a bad mood" she replies "That was harsh" - Call ended.

I'm quite obviously not just telling her to ignore her sister, am I? And I'm assuming that's how she's taken it, because now she's not talking to me.

It's just annoyed me, because I had good intentions, and she's taken it completely the wrong way.

Not really angry, just a bit "Damn it!"...

Took most of my bike apart to service and change tyres, replace BB bearings etc. and got to undoing the BB and my adjustable wrench doesn't adjust quite far enough to fit the tool.

Got everything else done, but still can't ride it!

Sounds like my kind of thing. Missed out on a Leeds ride today as I need a half link for my chain so thought I'd sort the brakes out and fit some new slaves. Just about to put it all together to bleed and realised the silver slaves I have are both m6/m8 so I've only got one bleed bolt that will fit!

Oh well, another ebay purchase made!

Feeling really rough with a cold and stuff. Rung up work 2 and half hours before my shift and they say they can't get cover and it's too short notice so I have to work. Anyone else think that's a bit unreasonable?

Never had a day off ill either since i started over 6 months ago.

Sounds a bit out of order but if it's just a cold then man up. :)

Well it turns out I should give notice for 11 in the morning for a 7:30pm shift. Bit pissed off cause even though I went in there was no appreciation for me making the effort and more like I was getting a bollocking.

I feel so shit now and run down.
