Jake.
Turn push notifications off for emails helped me a lot, also anything that'll drain battery through Internet just disable it.
err
App stoppers are useful too, you can shut down everything that's running in the background. Not sure which ones are best for the galaxy, never had an android myself
Blake
Work has called me in to work tonight although I booked it off a few weeks back and they said it was fine!? Where do I stand? Feeling pretty pissed as I was meant to be going to a mates leaving do. Won't see him for a while. You should have rights if you've booked it 4 weeks in advance (that's what it is where I work)
Jake.
For me it's if you book it before the rotas are done which are done 2 weeks every Thursday
Greetings
Cheers guys. Tried that and installed an energy saving app. Hope to see an improvement. Alternatively I can see there are larger batteries available, starting from 3000mAh to 7000mAh. Might give the 3000mAh a try if things are still bad and get the 7000mAh for holiday use. dann2707
Did you buy the phone new or second hand? If the latter then the person before you might have knackered the battery. I've got into a really good routine for my new phone where I don't charge it until it is at like 1% and soon to die and as soon as it's fully charged you remove from the socket as that also damages your bat bat over time. AndrewEH1
They also aren't replying to emails agh! They're usually really quick at replying, maybe they're not replying on purpose? Dunno. Just feel proper stressed haha. Can you not call work and talk to them?

Got it new. Admittedly I didn't format the battery, only found out about that today. Not sure if after 1 week of use there's any point in formatting it? Jake.
Can you not call work and talk to them? I usually avoid this as I'm deaf but I bit the bullet and did so. The manager on duty said he'd sort it out for me, they better not f**king call me when I'm at the pub/club.
Duncy H
Absolutely fuming, the mtb enduro bike I bought has been and endless money pit and source of trouble. Must have spent another £300 extra on it as it wasn't as described. Earlier when I was changing the frame bearings I found a crack in a weld near the head tube. Got so many other things I need to spend money on but no money cause of this stupid bike. Feel like driving up to Scotland and slapping him silly. It's not like I can kindly borrow no money either cause the 'rents are soon to be out of jobs by the looks of things.
bikeperson45
It's sad, but this Jack guy still insisting in his dispute thread that Americans spell apologizing as opoligisining is really getting on my nerves. I'm writing this on my American bought laptop. Glad it's go outside time for me

*gentlydoesit
My little girl is 4 tomorrow (well I guess today now) and just before she was about to go to bed she does a face plant stepping up the last step onto the landing, nearly knocking her front teeth out, now her lip is like a f**king baloon. Just f**king perfect, that'll look good in the family album.

(It costs at least £50 a time to get a piece put back on, which I then knock off within months).

Tom Booth
This is the 3rd time since new year I've had to stop on the way to work to help out someone with a broken down car that's causing an obstruction. The first one a guy had broken down on.a roundabout, at the junction so was bloking the entrance. I stopped and another guy did to push him off the junction, after countless people had driven around him. The 2nd was a similar scenario. This morning coming to work on a busy dual carriageway there was a car on fire (only small). Everyone had huddled into the outside lane to get around which was causing a tail back. Given the fact I was in a delivery van with a fire extinguisher I pulled over, we put it out then pushed it off the dual carriageway as the slip road was downhill and about 20foot away. It's really really not hard to help people, and it makes the world go round that bit better, it amazes me that nobody has 5minutes spare to help anyone. JDâ„¢
It's because people in groups are dicks. I'm sure if you asked every single one of those people whether they'd stop and help they'd be sure they would. But then they don't have the strength (if it even warrants that word) to go through with it at the time. Nicely done on making the morning of the people behind you better
The_Zulu
You know when you do something incredibly stupid? I just burnt the palm of my hand on a tray that had come fresh out the 400c oven at work. Burnt 40 pies and am really far behind on the workload. FML. Jake.
f**king pissed off at myself in general. Feel like a right twat. I can usually handle my drinks but I had a tad too much last night, ended up getting kicked out of the club. I can't remember being kicked out but I can remember trying to get in for an hour, there's also a 2 minute video on my phone of me shouting at a bouncer and he's just laughing pulling model poses (to be fair I'd do the same in his situation). I nearly lost a hearing aid, I spent an hour trying to find it. Managed to find it and was so relieved, shame it doesn't turn on for some reason. So now I have one hearing aid that doesn't work which happens to be my "better" ear. I exclaim better because they're both pretty dreary, would be much simpler if I could hear without them. I've also smashed my phone after having owned it a week, which f**ks me off. At least it's not as badly cracked as my last phone, and the hardware/software is all proper good. Doesn't freeze or anything like my old phone did constantly. To top it off I've just had a nose bleed in bed on white covers and pillows. I'm feeling pretty f**king sorry for myself right now. You say you can handle it pretty well but there's videos of you on facebook walking around naked and i'm sure all your snapchats are about you doing something ridiculous when you're pissed. Lay off getting hammered all the time if you're breaking things or losing shit, you're clumsy enough as it is when you're sober On a different note, I'm more upset than angry. Someone in my project class at college died during half term, supposedly took his own life. We used to play guitar together in the project lessons, makes me wish I'd said something to him before the half term.
Jake.
Videos? There's only one, and I wasn't pissed in it haha it was part of truth or dare. Damn that really sucks to hear man, did you know he had suicidal intentions then?
Blake
No idea he felt like that, he was really in to muse and his project was a matt bellemy ish styled guitar, had a reflective front plate and shit. Was really looking forward to playing it at project day and talking about it, sadly not. Almost broke down in tears earlier (I very rarely cry) but managed to stop myself.
