Shame it can't be a little more prevalent really - unfortunately we seem to have developed a society in which the opposite is often the case :(

If they want to die because of their beliefs, then thats fine by me, i just feel bad for the baby as they dont have a say in the matter :ermm:

I don't understand why religion has any say in law though? Like the whole "respecting" of peoples beliefs…. why? Why should I respect someones opinion of something that has no validity, truth or reasoning? I wouldn't go out of my way to insult someone either, but to bring it back on point….if someone was bleeding out the NHS's natural response would be to give blood. The only reason they even don't is due to people of (certain) religious beliefs… why does faith override general practice or law? Why are there bishops in Westminster? Other than due to out-dated tradition I don't understand the correlation between faith and any form of societal ruling? We're always told that the UK is a Christian country…. is it?

Don't get our lass started on these muppets, she's a nurse in intensive care and they cause so many problems it's unreal. They'd rather let a person die than have a blood transfusion

My GF is a biomedical scientist working in haematology and in the bloodbank in Glasgow and she told me about the blood transfusion thing, I didn't believe her at first.........Just because the bible says in one tiny bit that "But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.".

The women who spoke to me said "you need an instruction book to set up computers, furniture, TVs etc, the bible is an instructionbook for life" My issue with this is that instruction books are not open to interpretation, they are clear concise and to the point.......the bible is far from clear (hence all the types of Christianity that split off because they disagreed with what the book was saying).

That quote about the blood is not clear at all, to make life and death decisions from such a tiny and vague bit of writing in a book that's full of errors, psychotic characters and contradictions is in it'self insane.

Just to supplement the discussion of religion is for those of blind faith and bat sh*t crazy, just heard the guy on the radio talking about this (ripped form @teamrockbelong). It's a bit lengthy but seriously just read it...

BTW if you're into this 'devil music' lark, Teamrockradio is the absoulute nuts - check it out http://tunein.com/radio/TeamRock-Radio-s200662/or it's on DAB.. I've got the DAB hooked up to a 500w kenwood stack via aux and currently banging out the offspring

My gf (sorry to go on about her) being from Glasgow is a protestant, she's not highly religeous, she doesn't go to church or study the bible, she just is open to the idea of a higher power. The funny thing is she's totally into death metal music, like REALLY into it! :P

Borrowed the work van while the gaffer is on holiday.. so far I've gone through a speed trap @40 and put a massive scrape/dent in the rear wheel arch. Wonder what else I can do before he gets back :/

Drive it through a hedge, make a video of you power sliding round a very greasy roundabout, loads of stuff that involve being very childish

As long as she's not into black metal it's all gravy.

I sold a guy a faulty GoPro, described at length as faulty, what the problem was, photos, test video the works.

After a week of eBay dispute because the buyer complained it was faulty, as always the buyer won. Today I got it back (postage at my expense) completely f***ed with a message scribbled inside the box saying "enjoy! karma!" and some bad feedback, fuuuuuucking arsehole!!!!
