Tom Booth
You can claim if back if she was admitted can't you? When I dropped my gran off at the hospital ages ago I know my parking fee was returned.

isitafox
Why is itunes so unbelievably shite?? Not logged in for a few months so had to reset my password as I'd forgotten it, after waiting nearly an hour for the password reset email to come through I made up a new password which it accepted, went to log into itunes and it still doesn't work?! bikeperson45
New Years Eve at home for me. I should really get some friends that live near me on a fairly consistent basis. Did buy Age of Empires yesterday though, so that's an evening right there.

LiamWood!
Did a favour by picking my girlfriends sister up from a party, and I received a screw in my tyre! Right on the corner were the tread meets the sidewall so that's that tyre f**ked.
isitafox
First night back in work, weather is horrific, walked in to the box to find rat poison trays at each end and I don't know if there'll be anyone coming in in the morning. Pashley26
The M26 would be a fantastic motorway, fast flowing, scenic, well serviced and well maintained. If it wasn't for the obnoxious French c**ts that are incapable of driving properly.
Mark W
HMRC. Their website. Self assessment tax shit. Having to wait 7 days for them to post out an activation code for an online service. This also just reminded me I forgot to save the User ID number they only show you once and that you can't gain access to again.
Pashley26
Turns out that Halifax have been charging me for PPI on a loan I took our three years ago. Never had any paperwork, never had any mention of it, never even knew I had it until I settled the loan and saw a rebate. To. The. Cleaners. King C
You've seen the adverts right? There's a shit tonne of people who can help.
Pashley26
I've seen the adverts and things. But not really looked into it. In short... Had a loan. Paid it off. Got a rebate for "repayment protection insurance." Phoned them and said "wtf is this? Is it basically another word for PPI?" They said "yes but you need to speak to a different department." That's as far as I've got. Anybody had any experience with this?
Mark W
From what I've heard from relatives who've dealt with it the amount of money you'll get is relatively small unless your loan was a hefty b*****d.
Pashley26
£10,000? *does it go on total payable? So I borrowed £7000 and paid £3000 (give or take a few 100) in interest. Edited January 3, 2015 by Pashley26
monkeyseemonkeydo
I borrowed £7000 and paid £3000 (give or take a few 100) in interest. What the f**k were you thinking?! Serious question.
CC12345678910
The blackspire stinger chainguide I ordered from a (usually exceptional) preowned mtb parts specialist on boxing day, arrived today. The description, order confirmation, online invoice, separate confirmation email and finally paper receipt included in the jiffy stated that this stinger was the BB mount option. What turned up?? ISCG 05. OH FFS!!!! Edited January 3, 2015 by CC12345678910
Pashley26
Mum needed it to fund the first seasons stock when she took over my grandparents business, because she chaned the name of the company they required payment pro-forma. So I took out a loan to fund it and became a partner in the beesnass.
MadManMike
I don't think it was the loan that was being questioned, more the interest amount.
monkeyseemonkeydo
Yup. Seems like an appalling rate, especially for a business loan.
isitafox
I got just over £3000 (I think??) back in a PPI claim a few months back from the Halifax from a loan I paid off about 3 years ago, funny thing was that they actually sent me a letter asking if I wanted to make a complaint in case I thought I had been missold PPI. I think you need to speak to their complaints department and they'll send you a proper complaints form to fill in which they have to respond to within a set amount of time.
