Muel
Failed one of my uni exams. I think I get to resit in August so I should still graduate with everyone else, but I'm still really pissed off about it. I thought I had finally finished! The really annoying bit is that I know I'm one of the high filers in my faculty, I just suck at exams. All but 3 of my assignments this year have been firsts, and the 3 that weren't were very high 2:1s. Edited June 19, 2013 by Muel

Token
If I didn't buy a bloody house last year, I'd have a nice car, nice clothes and probably would of treated myself to a pejazzle by now.
ogre
a house is a much better investment. long haul it will be worth it. More anger: deleted my assignment after 6 hours of library time, i've now commited to an all nighter to finish this sucker.

Ross McArthur
73mm BB, 83mm BB. ISCG 05, ISCG old. Will never let myself be confused about these again. Rushed into buying Zee cranks for my 73mm bb, turned out they were 83mm axle. Rage. Rushed into buying a 05 MRP chain device for my new frame, turns out mines an Old. Even more rage. It's a pain in the arse, especially when you factor in all the different headset options, different rear wheel spacings, front mech mounting options and clearance with pivot placement.... there seems to be so many standards. Are you putting Zee cranks on the Intense? Their fairly heavy duty.... I take it they're new so you can just swap them for the ones you need? With the chain device you could always get an old ISCG back plate.

Thankfully the guy accepted I was a knob and gave me a refund for the MRP device but I bought the Zee cranks a couple of weeks ago so im not even going to chance asking for my money back. Ive bought a raceface spacer kit for it but in the bigger rear cogs the chain line is horrible. I just know its going to be a pain setting up a device when I finally get one. Im making sure I get the headset right. Ive got 1-1/8" fork steerer and the frame is 1.5". So I need a reducer headset. Got a Hope HS coming to sort that. 135mm back end so no problems there but its a 10mm dropout so need a new axle...Hhmmfff. Got one from Pinkbike for £8 so thats all good. Ach, ill get it sorted eventually but this isnt the lay back and accept it thread, so ill continue to be ANGRY!! f**k YOU BIKES!!!

Any chance you could sell the Zee cranks to get your money back and then use it to buy some 73mm cranks? Just wondering if that'll be better as not sure how it'll all work in terms of chainline with a guide on there?

JDâ„¢
I feel your pain man. I still have a set of brand new Saint cranks sat at home in the box because I ordered them by mistake and haven't got round to selling them.
shamus
How much JD? Might know a very interested party. What rings on them? Oh and the above sizes is probably a good idea! Edited June 20, 2013 by shamus
JD™
They're 170s with an 83mm BB. No rings, and only take a single big 'un. Ill take £40 less than whatever they're on at CRC, including postage. Brand new in box, never fully fitted, although they have been unwrapped. shamus
Just checked and he's after the 73mm. But I'm curious they only take a single ring? All the sets I've seen can take three (double and bash typically)

weirdoku
I accidentally bought 12 cans of alcohol free Kopparberg. I didn't even know an alcoholic free version existed. I was in ASDA, went to the alcohol isle, saw the Kopparberg and grabbed 2 packs of 6. Was just drinking one and thought, I can't feel the alcohol, looked at the can and BAM, "Alcohol Free". This is some sick joke.
