dezmtber
The stumpy has two sets of fox forks. The white 34's for enduro dh races and a set of talas 32's in black for xc,
bing
The cervelo is very nice. Want one
AndrewEH1
I'm confused, where are the reflectors? That Stumpjumper looks lovey despite it being a 29er...whenever I see a nice carbon frame like that it makes me want to either sell my Five or buy another bike because they must be light compared to mine. harmertrials
Dad's rather tasty Santa Cruz Nomad carbon. He's a little kid and keeps it in his bedroom. Awful pic as per usual from me.

AndrewEH1
Wash your mouth! Make me. Although desires for a carbon frame will always be there I don't think I could part with the Five. Satified?
Matthew62
No not really! I don't have the desire for a carbon MTB at all (whilst not against them) but I'm not a 'Five till I die' kinda guy and might be tempted by something different next year. However, bear in mind you can build a 25lb - 26lb Five if you try hard enough.

Well I've just got some new rims so gone are the heavy orange painted rims! Should shave a few grams off.
Matthew62
What have you gone for? Also are you still 1x10? Yours is probably a fair bit lighter than mine with all your girlie Ti bolts and float's vs talas. Also 1x10 with a light guide will help. I'd imagine yours is just over 30lbs so pretty respectable for such a solid build.

The Ti bolts are only there because the caliper and rotor bolts that Hope supply aren't brilliant.
dezmtber
fives are very light still, i havent seen any multi pivot bikes lighter yet.

I've got EN521's and as lovely as they are I wouldn't pick them again. Would of gone with the XM819 UST's and gone tubeless. Fair bit lighter and still strong, but I guess with the 521's you'll never have any issues with weak wheels. Yeah I want to try 1x10 but might be a bit of a struggle for Innerleithen. Have you swapped out the 36t for something smaller? Yeah, yeah the Ti bolts are there for sure pimpedness!

Well part of the reason to replace them, apart from the nasty paint, was that my rear rim was completely out of shape. So although it was probably easily fixed it was a good enough excuse! Still using 36t on the front but I have 11-36 on the back so that makes it a little easier.
