JonNicholson95
After an epic fail of a water bleed the piston in my maggura brake seized and won't return to its original position, any help would be appreciated, thanks
Blake
Soak it in wd40 over night, just the lever. Then take the blade off and try pulling the piston out with some pliers.
Revolver
You can often poke the piston out through the bleed hole with a spoke or something thin like that. You might have to sand the piston a bit. A tiny bit.
JonNicholson95
Ok thanks I've tried with a tiny alen key but it isn't having any of it
Danny00135
this might sound stupid but it actually works.. Modify a pump with a bleed hose at the end of it.. lots of tape and what not so no air leaks from it Remove the grub screw from the lever body (when the brake is fully built and screw in the slave) attach the bleed hose to it and pump the s**t out of it until it comes out. It happened to my pre 05 lever and this was the only thing that worked..
JonNicholson95
It's sorted now, I just kept pushing with an allen key and stretched the spring and re bled it
