weegav
Hi, I'm hoping to go dual disk after christmas and was wondering what disk brakes are best for a mod and will also give consistant braking in all conditions.

liam n
Depending on whether you can afford dual hydraulic disc brakes, you might want to go for a cable, BB7 on the front. but on the back, it has to be a hope or shimano saint. dann2707
I'm not a fan when people whore what they have and claim it is the best until they find something new but I'm running dual Hope Mono Trials and once set up perfectly and ensured they are bled well / not leaking they are really really good. The lock and bite is amazing.

aener
Cable disk on the back? no thankyou I dunno... Have you tried all the cables? The only problem with a rear BB7 is the cable flex. I only ever tried with a Wilko's cable which makes it a very noticeable problem, but I'm sure there must be some out there that are stiff enough. I'd both at 203 too, just because why wouldn't you?
