isitafox
Ideal riding temperature for me is around 15°C, actually that's the ideal temperature for me full stop. If I could live somewhere that maintained that year round and stayed relatively dry I would be in riding heaven!
SamKidney
Well, I rode today. Had to be one of the most depressing rides I've been on this year. Was cold, wet, fell off allot and couldn't get along with my bike at all and came home wishing I'd stayed in bed. Lines that would normally wouldn't be too much of an issue were completed super sketchy, with me making silly mistakes all day. Put me off riding tomorrows comp. Bike needs loads of work to get it feeling fresh again now.
dezmtber
Winter is ace. I steam like a old traction engine when its weather like now Best bit is the local rock climing/walking rocks are free of the ramblers so the rocks are all mine and more challenging. And streets are clear of chavs too couldn't be better
ULtrialsguy
I don't mind the dark as most of my spots are lit up pretty well and I usually ride pretty late anyway unless it's a weekend. The thing that bothers me the most though is the wet. It makes everything around here slippery and because it's so cold it doesn't dry for a couple of days even if it hasn't rained. I'm trying to source some pallets that I can keep somewhere dry and pull out when I want to ride. Cold itself doesn't bother me, I was out last winter in 0 degrees in a T-shirt and still sweating.
