CalRobbo341
Does it matter what rotor you have with a certain brake? I plan on getting - www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mobile/MobileModels.aspx?ModelID=67246 will try on ebay first and what not. Can anyone recommend a disc for that brake too? Is it worth ordering from crc? Seen lots of negative posts from them recently.
Jake.
My Dad orders from them all the time they're sound, discs don't matter too much but most people tend to get the same branded disc as the brake they're using. I have a hope tech and a avid rotor and that works well.
Laurence--Trials
you can use any disc with any brake, doesn't matter what size, pattern or anything like that. I've found the shimano deore disc to be the best i've tried though.
Ali C
well, that's not entirely true, in an ideal situation you should be using a rotor with a braking surface the same depth as the pad, plus some rivets on alloy armed rotors hit against some callipers.
