Ross McArthur
Theres a bike charity doo on in Glasgow on the Friday night that we are going to...So since the Aberdeen boys are in Glasgow that night, makes sense that we ride street the next day then head over to the east coast on the Sunday. Ross McArthur
What's the situation with Glen Tress Chris? You were saying it was sheet ice everywhere? Able to tap into the trail riding world and find out for us? Could be worth having a two day'r if the trails are un rideable?
Matthew62
Yeah I was going to say. Apparently GT and Innerleithen are a no go. I was going on Sunday but one of my buds text me who'd ridden the day before and said it was pretty much a write off. There's ice on all the fire roads and trail and lots of now on the top of both. They said it'd got to a point where it wasn't just fun and slidey but just annoying and unrideable. However this week is a bit hotter and it could thaw out by the weekend (but doubt it). Ross McArthur
Two days of Trials?
Matthew62
Aye. Could always trials in the Burgh on Sunday if people fancied a change (and were going to head east anyway)? P.S. Scrap what I said about it warming up and the trails thawing - it's got colder still. Minus 1 at the hottest point of today so don't think that'll help the trails all that much. ben_travis
two days of trials seems fine enough....not totally sold on edinburgh, especially if there is a big bunch of us, but sure we can decide something you coming along on the saturday matt? chris_m
Yah the its not ment to be fun atall,i like slidey conditions but what i heard was it was just dangerous, but see how the weather looks during the week, im on for street id need to try get a trail bike if we went to glen tress
kevind
East Lothian coast has plenty to offer in natural and street and if the weather turns crap then you can come to the barn. There is also Portobello with loads of rocks and streety prom. Just a suggestion for Sunday. Lots of churches for Ben to upset the locals.

Matthew62
It's now looking dry and fairly warm for the Saturday. Who actually going to make it along on the Sat and where and what time is the meet? George Square is rammed with some shitty wheel and gypsy's or something so somewhere else might be better? GoMA? Pete.M
If Saturday is better weather-wise then that's the day I'll be in. Might be best to meet at a known riding spot so that there's something for the early folk to ride on while waiting?
Ross McArthur
Hey guys. Good point on the gypo's Matt.
