yes it is the black and green .He wants to know how the brakes are on this one and if its possible to change to disc brakes on a zoot? (Whatever that means)!

I've got the 2011 model and I think the brakes are pretty decent to be honest, I'll end up changing the front to a disc for a bit more bite but probably keep the rear V (I'll upgrade the pads after a few months use)

I'm pretty sure the 2010 model is the same as mine, in which case it will take both front and rear discs (Y)

they downgraded the specs after that model to maintain the same price...

How? From what I can see, they only changed the tires and the pedals...

yes you can, but you'd need to get some wheels built with disk hubs. he's better off with vees up start with for the moment, get some good pads first. I'll go see the guy in the bike shop Friday and con summat out of him for this

thanks soooo much!

Forum wouldn't let me message you today something about only 3 posts a day so I couldn't get shop details so I used phone book to randomly phoned bike shops in goole and found the bike on first call! My son is now the proud owner of his first trials bike. Will post some pics when he receives it. Next job take out medical insurance!!!!

glad to be of help. just tell him dan with the onza blade told you. he knows who I am, I'm the only trials rider in goole

yes it is, but better vee brake pads would be a more cost efficient solution, lighter than disc too.

they downgraded the freewheel to a 30 click from the fricken awesome 60 click tensile that comes on the black + green rig. making it awesome out the box.

Disk Brake with Bite.. wtf O.o

new hope techs have super bite...

now i've addressed everything in the thread...

zoots are mint, alumium forks and high quality pads and good chain tensioners should be the priority upgrades. then alloy bars. 's all good after that
