Martin Reynolds
Think i prefer these to the 'R' range! Weight on the stock frame? and does it have a built in booster? its hard to see the machining around the back brake

dann2707
How many girders were melted together and reformed to make that headtube on the mod?

CC12345678910
Wow, really really nice bikes. Prices? I really agree, nice and clean (It's nice to see a frame with no headtube cutout too. yay impulse!) I was just about to ask about price too. does it have a built in booster? its hard to see the machining around the back brake Bottom piccy suggests i doesn't, but surely that's no problem, bolt on boosters work better anyway IMO. Also is that an internal, as in cup in frame, bearing in cup headset or a intergrated, as in bearing on frame, no cups. Clarify please someone. thank you. 54Sport
Great to see so much Interest In these bikes. I am getting answers from Inpulse to all of your questions so bare with me!The 26" frame comes in at 1.5kg and will be availabe in either twin HS33 or Hope/HS33. UK prices are not 100% fixed at the moment but.... The full build will be around Echo SL price range (depending on brake option) and the 20", again depending on the brake option (Twin Hope or Hope/Hs33) will slot in around the the rockman manus.Direct from Cedric@Inpulse talking about the start 26" -"Yes the Start 26 is quite short (compared to the current norm) but comes with 150mm stem, which Aurelien is riding with now with. Shorter bike is better for bunny up and more easy on the front. Moreover, it is a middle range bikes, so for quite tall rider and quite technical level. The bike is more easy to ride than the R26.The parts are suitable with R bikes." A few more pics EDIT: No built in brake booster with these. They also use a semi integrated headset, the same which is used on the R series. Might be able to see it better in this pic . CC12345678910
They also use a semi integrated headset, the same which is used on the R series. Might be able to see it better in this pic. so in relation to my earlier post, bearings in HS cups or direct on frame. EDIT: Frame only to come?? Price and mounts on said frame (stock) EDIT2: OT: What is the feedback, customer or team, like at 54sport concerning the impulse freewheel. Good, bad, ugly? It looks a lot like the try-all/trialtech freewheel, correct me if i'm mispoken. Edited November 6, 2012 by CC12345678910
54Sport
1- Bearings In headset cups 2 - There will be a frame only option. Price TBC. Hs33 mounts on rear, no news on them doing rear disc anytime soon. Unsure If they will do forks with both mounts at some point 3 - Good. Reviews so far have been positive. Not had anyone say anything bad against them. As long as you take care of them like all freewheels, clean them out now and again etc they should run spot on Not sure what the closest comparison to a Inpulse 108 would be, sorry
