Jake.
It means you have more engagement points, at 108 positions you are engaged with the freewheel meaning you can pedal the bike forward. If you have a lower click freewheel its usually easier to skip, plus your cranks have to rotate further before it reaches an engagement point (most of the time). Basically you'll find pedal kicks easier, your bike will skip less therefore improving confidence
shercofray
It's pretty self explanatory really.. There are more engagements so you will feel and difference in the response. And it will help with improvement - I wouldn't say its going to improve your riding dramatically as there are so many factors.
J.KYDD
It will feel infinitely better.
Mark W
I wouldn't say its going to improve your riding dramatically as there are so many factors. I switched from an old Dicta freewheel to an ENO back in the day and it improved the size of my gaps by quite a lot because you can instantly put the power down better. From 72 to 108 doesn't make a maaassive difference, but from a really low engagement point freewheel to a good freewheel makes a surprisingly large difference. J.KYDD
I can barely ride bikes with Hope Pro2 trials hubs any more - they feel almost dim witted!
