EnnBee
Front wheel build help Rim is a atomz offset 32 hole Hub echo tr disc Spokes sent by tarty are 186 I'm struggling to build this wheel. Any help I need to know the cross paterns and so on. Cheers x
isitafox
The Tarty invoice should say which cross pattern the spokes are for though they usually send out for 3x (from my experience) unless you ask for something different. Sounds a bit odd that you've only got one size of spokes though with it being a disc hub as one flange will be nearer the centre of the hub?? When you get the spokes sorted though just follow Mark's guide here, although it says for a 36h wheel build it'll work perfectly as I did my wheels on the Speedrace from it and they were 32h. AdamR28
The paperwork will be in there, otherwise we can't pick the spokes usually with the receipt or wrapped up in the spokes. 3x disc, 2x non disc sounds about right though. EnnBee
Done it but a few spokes are. Bit long ? Is this normal or have I ballsed it up
FamilyBiker
this normally happens only when you set the second leading spokes one hole in the wrong direction either at the rim or at the hub flange. i mean the spokes the others will cross over,on one side theyre wrong obviously
EnnBee
Ok cheers. I just ground ends of spokes. Wheel is straightOnly my 4th wheel build. I'm still learning.
