Dave Anscombe
Onza zoot! I have no idea why but 24'' street is appealing to me more and more. Will this bike take it! or am i going to ruin it in 3 weeks?
isitafox
A zoot you will probably destroy, the pro frame might hold up a bit better though?!
williams
I don't know how good you are, but the frame would hold up for a while I think.. The parts, especially the freewheel would be killed quite quick (30 click freewheel!)
Dave Anscombe
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh bugger This makes me sad
AdamR28
A zoot you will probably destroy, the pro frame might hold up a bit better though?! The frames are the same strength really. As said, the parts may not be to your tastes though Dave, you may be better off with a 2nd hand Inspired.
Dave Anscombe
Balls! How strong are the frames though adz? will i wreck it? 2010 version? I dont really fancy going insipred mainly because price and everyone has one!

the mysterious leemur
Guy from my city snapped his zoot , got a pro ( I think for free) and snapped that in a month or so also , might not have been that quick but it was a surprisingly short lifespan. Dave Anscombe
Ok....So people do snap them in no time at all ! Only reason i ask is a friend has one and hes willing to sell it me at a decent price bars have been upgraded as well as stem and fork! Gutted i may be best off sticking with the ole carp fishing! Blake
Zoot's ride nice, I think you'll like it as it can do TGSy stuff still. When the frame snaps just get a second hand element or something.

Blake
depends how much you ride it, if you refrain from doing your signature massive drops it should live

JoNnY__Mc
They look well set up as standard, and if your mate has already replaced the forks, bars and stem then you are laughing. So it's another vote from me to buy it and ride it and replace any parts when you need to. You could fork out a tonne of money on an inspired and not find that riding style to suit you. I know its off topic, I have a Monty 24" brakeless with great spec up for sale that's going cheap as it could be a great starting point into 24". Just another option you could look at
Dan6061
My mate cracked his at the seatstay (common on them) and got it welded up with a brace put in between the two seatstay tubes behind the seatube, like a built in booster! Made it so much stiffer! He rides it brakeless too. Only got it welded up to get a bit more use out of it. Seems to be holding up so far! Get one, they're fun little bikes. VAMPIRE V12
i like my zoot its had a lot changed parts on it, brakes, freewheel, chain, hubs, bars and other bits and the frames are a bit flexable especially with me being 16st 8lbs and 6foot 3'' Edited October 24, 2012 by VAMPIRE V12
