tdubz
really struggling with my taps, causing me to not get great height and then screw other moves up as can be seen below any help would be great about the tap technique or the gap thanks
Blake
maybe aim a little lower? I can't tap yet but everyone else seems to hit the wall where it's flat.
peggysue
Can't see anything wrong with your technique mate. On a wall that high your going to hit the edge anyway as its quite low . All I can say is try and land a little steeper to control the bike on landing . As the walls get higher your going to hit the wall on the face more and more . Your front wheel can only hit so high . I found it better learning on bigger walls to get the front wheel tap dialled . Each to there own though
BradJohnson
don't tap it, set off earlier and give it more. also looks to me like you need some new pads on order.
Blake
Or stabilise yourself more on the wall before you kick, do a correction hop or two, then preload and do the gap up.

Blake
Needed a grind sorted that now! What do you mean dont tap it? He means pedal up, just go straight to back.
N.Wood
That wall is too low for a 'proper' tap. A little touch onm the top corner, sure, but thats about all.
