Matthew62
A bit hipster, but the end result is beautiful. Would look nice with a matching seat post.
Blake
trials bars please. You could make loads of wooden parts like this, seatpost would be sick. Can't think what else is possible, forks?

Ben Gosden
This was quite enjoyable watching them get made but does any one know if they have any advantages on metal bars? surely metal is better off right??
Mark W
When you rock up at Starbucks you've got a shitload more cool points.

Obviously. http://www.bikeit.ec...ng/woodrims.htm surely you could resolve that braking problem by adding some sort of resin to the rim and letting it solidify? anzo
Kinda cool, but right gay at the same time. Like fixies? Just without the cool bit...
CurtisRider
It was cool seeing them made, I apprecdiate the skills involved (even if they are fairly basic) but thats about it

Tomm
I think it's kinda cool - I'd like to make my own bars, it'd feel like I'd achieved something interesting / bespoke. On the other hand, if they become the next fashion must-have for the fixie crowd then they suddenly become lame.

CalopS
I've got a fixie and it's a lot of fun. Having ridden pretty much only trials most of my life the simplicity of them really appeals to me over a bike with gears/brakes e.t.c that you have to maintain. The video was cool. I think he kinda ruined the look with whatever finish he painted on them but I love the idea of been able to craft your own stuff out of wood. I hated wood class at high school though so I think I'll stick with good old metal!

It's hipsters that cause that, but hipsters to me seem like students and students are lazy as shit, so I can't see them being arsed to spend that much time just for that. Blake
I don't like the whole fashion around fixies, and I'm not a huge fan of riding them. But I'd love to own one for nipping about on and building up the old leg muscle (but not a fan of downhill on them)
CalopS
Down hill is a bit scary but that's part of the fun Especially in yorkshire..... https://vimeo.com/36959178
