Julius Czar
Hey guys! Been out of the loop for a while with my job and no one else to ride with, recently got back into it with my mate (BigAl) as he has just bought a new steed. Problem is that the built in tensioners on the ice are really temperamental, I've lost one from the non-drive dropout but it didn't really make a difference so I'm currently running one. I'm finding it difficult to get good chain tension with a good brake as well. I thought the other day if i drilled a hole through the dropout and tapped a thread into it would it hold up for the use of cams? Any help would be great! p_ruskin
You can drill in bolts and use cams as long as you hub is the correct width, or buy some new tensioners and run the onza ones, i use them and have never really had problems
dann2707
The onza tensioning system is so much better than cams imo! It's pretty hard to lose one though, did you not have the 10mm nut on the end holding it in place?
Blake
Afraid cams wont work with the ice due to its spacing.

CalRobbo341
M6 bolt through does the job nicely, unless you have stripped the thread that is?
