eskimo
Doing this backwards! Haven't done a check in a while, so i thought doing one at the retirement of mt 24" would be a nice idea. The frame saw the majority of it's components changed over it's time, but the frame and rear wheel always stood strong. ps. not for sale Spec as it stands: Inspired Element / Team fork 4 bolt TT high rise bar / One23 stem 35x90 FSA Orbit MX / ODI Longnecks / Odyssey Par Ends / Avid PR5 or whatever they're called Avid SD7s / Plaz Rear / Generic Clear Front / Odyssey Linear / Shimano XTR / Flexy Noodle x2 Heatsink Adapters V1 / Odyssey TI Vee Booster / Shimano Carbon Booster w/ TI bolts Inspired Post / Primo Balance Pivotal / Generic Clamp Trialtech Full Drivechain 175mm 22t-15t w/ KMC510HX Hoffman Mags Unsealed NS Rotary 10 32h / Sapim / Alloy Nipples / Octane 32 Hope 36h / Sapim / Alloy Nipples / Halo Combat Maxxis Hookworm 2.5" '/ Tioga FS 2.1" Edited October 14, 2012 by eskimo

eskimo
Your not riding it anymore? Cracked? Nah. The frame is generally good. But kinda bored of it now. Though i rode the ZHI yesterday, and that was kinda boring, but maybe cause i gotta cold. Or maybe cause i'm able to ride pegs on the bmx again. Azarathal
I know you said not FS but would you swap a shimano xtr booster + cash for your odyssey? The xtr is about 2mm too narrow for my brake spacing
Jake.
Mate, that front brake is horrendous.

TROYston
Turn it into a dirt jumper/ xc rig. Alas, the first frame i had in mind when thinking of getting an XC frame.
aener
Mate, that front brake is horrendous. Really? When I've ridden his bike it's both worked more effectively, AND felt almost infinitely nicer than any front mag I've ever used. What about the Triton, Nick? Brake boosters on rear are understandable, but I just find boosters on forks hideous. That's just me though.
MikeCottTrials
How is the rear brake treating you? I've just got my first vee setup and I'm looking to improve

When I've ridden his bike it's both worked more effectively, AND felt almost infinitely nicer than any front mag I've ever used. What about the Triton, Nick? Please don't leave us The Triton hasn't moved in a while. But i'm sure it still works. And who said you could ride my bike?! How is the rear brake treating you? I've just got my first vee setup and I'm looking to improve When it first was setup it was great. Though dodgey springs, angled pad wear (small rim height), sticky cable and me not bothering, it ended up being a pain in the ass. Your prefered lever. New linear cut clean. Decent noodle. SD7 caliper. = winner Pads are preference. Plazs are probably too bitey for most, but i never overly used it much for modulation.
