dann2707
What frame is it? Yeah I'd try and drill all the way through and nut and bolt it. Won't look pwettyyyy but it should work

ashleys sugden
just looked at the mounts again, and if i drill through then the nut will sit at an angle when tightened up, if you know what i mean?

ashleys sugden
i know, going to try the stoods in the frame and if that doesnt work, its time for a new frame, again :L
Jake.
Can't believe you managed to strip ALL the threads, did you not learn from your lessons? I'd just go straight for a new frame if I were you...

shercofray
Careful you don't do exactly the same to the new frame as the metal will be just as soft!

Martin Reynolds
yeah i know :/ the mounts need to made from steel! No, just stop being a monkey and reeming them up. Use the longest bolts you can find, a little bit of grease of the threads, and just 'nip' them up till the brake cylinders don't move, simple as! ashleys sugden
there is no thread left! its all smooth inside and the bolt rattles inside the hole
