mad-dog
Have had loads of different brakes and found the new 2011 hs33 to be the best one IMO
SamKidney
I think I'll be splashing out on an Echo TR Lever unit this year if my SL leverbody dies.
dk2
Found mine to be allright for the first 3-4 months...Then it started leaking.. (...waiting for warranty now...
Luke Dunstan
I grew up with the 98-04 model, they were great, solid, stiff, weak tpa but on the whole there wasn't much wrong. I agree with this 100%, I was lucky enough to find a brand new Raceline last year in my local shop, was so chuffed. As with most things these days, companies are trying to make more of a profit. They up the prices and lower the quality. Edit: Speeling. Edited October 15, 2012 by Luke Dunstan
customrider-Rhys
Found mine to be allright for the first 3-4 months...Then it started leaking.. (...waiting for warranty now... exactly the same happend with mine, pulling it in one evening checking frame flex and it blew its load of fluid out the lever piston and onto the floor. kaarel
Never tried to bath bleed a new hs33. But why wouldn't it work ? The new lever has a bleed port also (otherwise how could we bleed the brake ?) ... Done a bath-bleed several times now, works well.. Overall, it is spongy and i have to bleed it about every other month.. Hope that they'll come up with something awesome and bring out an updated model or something.. dk2
Put on a 2004 lever now, works so great
giantwhore
2011 HS33 seems good to me. Don't know why people are moaning about about flex.......mine seems spot on without a booster. Next to no flex at all and bucket loads of power. Maybe people need to learn how to properly bleed and set up brakes before they start knocking the product
Azarathal
The radix has a built in booster though chris. I hated mine, flexy, leaky etc
SamKidney
If I were to get one, I'd definately be buying a booster along with it. My bro's Hs11 feels sweet too, but his Limey has a buit in booster of sorts.

You're in the minority that likes them, so not exactly an improvement over the 98 & 05.
SamKidney
The 05's were my favorite. They would sell sooooo many if they re-released them, with slight alterations to the design. Pref CNC'd and with no pointy corner
