Barrow Farm Mick
As some of you may know, Dave is retiring. He has been the Essex Bike Trial Club Secretary for 25 years. So, as a farewell to Dave, the EBTC is having a Fun Day on 21st October 2012 at Radical Bikes. It will be a FREE day to all who have been part of EBTC - riders and non riders, young and old, whether it’s been at a comp, fun-day, or training session. We will have lots to ride and do. There will be old school Essex Trials in the wood, modern style sections in the field and up-to-date Radfest type stuff too. This is All for Fun and for Free - this is not a comp! It’s a Day for Dave. There will be prizes and giveaways for all type of things - most fun, best line, oldest rider, oldest Trials bike (20”-26”) and lots more. There will be a BBQ, Music and Picture display. The day will be a Celebration of Dave’s contribution to Bike Trials. Format for the day: Sign in at Radical Bikes and get free food ticket. Ride, chat, have fun, catch up with Old and New friends alike. Big thanks to Dave and Pam for supporting Bike Trials! If you have any old EBTC or Trials pictures that may be of interest or amusing to go on the display, please send to mick@radicalbikes.co.uk For catering purposes, it would help to know numbers who are likely to attend, so if you could just e-mail back or Tel 07771 637760, that would be helpful. Thanks very much! Mick Mitchell www.radicalbikes.co.uk
Jake.
"to all who have been part of EBTC" So if you've never been a part of EBTC you can't go?
Barrow Farm Mick
The reason it's free to EBTC members (past or present) is because it's a retirement celebration so it's aimed at people that know Dave Bradley and want to thank him for all his work. Ofcourse anyone can attend (as you can every weekend at Radical Bikes) - but there would be the usual session fee to ride.
